  3. Last bump - will trade both of mine for NM #98 9.8 OR Ultimate Fallout #4 9.8
  4. Yeah, it had it's drop - think it will ALWAYS be a $1500 - $2000 book. Never been free to air either. Yet.
  5. Will this stay on Disney+ or gravitate to other services? Amazon,(The Boys) Netflix (Jessica Jones,Iron Fist DD etc) and Foxtel (Doom Patrol , Legion, GOT etc) are enough for me (too much tbh) without paying for ANOTHER channel. Any chance this drops on Netflix? I really don't want to subscribe to yet another channel - yet this is a prequel to the new Dr Strange movie.
  6. Bear in mind that in Australia, pretty much all cinema's esp multiscreens are only showing TWO movies at a go. My son manages the local multiplex as his Uni job - they are showing WW84 and a Bollywood movie - and they have 16 theatres. The Bollywood film is winning hands down, with people leaving WW84 whilst the film is in progress - in every sitting. He actually just went to open up. On boxing day, they have FOUR seats booked for WW84 in the entire complex. The other movie is sold out across 4 screens. People leaving WW84 - so people who actually paid to watch it, are scathing in their reviews. The $4.5m quoted above is a failure of epic proportions as Village went with it in every multi-screen with one other movie.
  7. Because he's 75 I guess so, add Steve Bisley, and Steve Clark as well, and it would work. Roger Ward (Chief) is now 85 but who knows. The last of the V8 crew. Like it.
  8. Sunday bump as open to trade
  9. I'm surprised nobody else thinks MBB wouldn't have been a better choice
  10. Thanks guys - we were going tomorrow - we'll save the $50 and get dinner instead FWIW - non boardie reviews are about the same
  11. A little better, but why all the lovey-dovey stuff all of a sudden. They covered Saru's story and his people before. And this week didn't need to rehash it again. Singing, elders - all not needed. I noticed Jonathan Frakes has become much more involved and it really shows - the impetus and drive of this season has been swept away by one of the 'old guard' - he was in Picard (in one of the worst episodes) and directed the poor Georgiou arc of the last 2 eps. Stick with the new writers and directors - they made this season a refreshing change. Now with Frakes on board we find that the burn was caused by I'm just so disappointed in how much the series has completely lost it's way. It was about rebuilding the Federation, not storytime with Saru and Hugh. The Orion captain is possibly the worst actress I've ever seen, adding to the downturn of what had the potential to be the Best Star trek season ever. They need to refocus on the story, and drop the padding out of recent episodes by filling it with random outpourings of "feelings". The story has advanced - but it could have, SHOULD have, been done in an action packed, sci-fi way. They can still turn it around. Just concentrate on the story. Turn up the action, and stop with the silly fantasy padding. The writing in the last 3 weeks has been sloppy. This could have been a dynamic episode, but it looks like its the first of a 3 parter. Its not just me - IMDB ratings have dropped, viewers are down, and reviews are harsh to say the least. It worked because it was fresh - you get the same old people writing and directing, you get the same old shmuck. You use Frakes, you get rehashed storylines. Really, really disappointed with the last 3 episodes. 5/10 @Bosco685

  14. Replied in 2 minutes. You should get commission for this. Oh wait... It's Xmas day, and I'm out. Merry Xmas
  15. Wait for yet another sales pitch about buying 'shares in comics you don't really own' It's getting tedious and obvious now.
  16. Obvious choice for me is Millie Bobby Brown (Stranger Things + the very good Enola Holmes)
  17. Anya-Taylor Joy is a terrible choice. She has the acting depth of a saucer. Good to see Australian Chris Hemsworth in an Australian based franchise. Hopefully they use more local talent in this one (but not Bruce Spence.....)
  18. I guess the problem for me was being such a huge fan of the books. Season 3 was like comparing a redwood to a sapling. The fact Holden had to explain what happened in a solo speech at the end of the last ep said it all. Completely had the feel of an "are we on / off for next season" muddle. Trying to end it, whilst leaving room to continue if renewed. The rebellion war was basically sacrificed for ludicrously long scenes with the priest, and Millers second arc was reduced to a cameo, when it was the key to the whole of books 3 + 4. Havelock never returned. As someone said - too many characters were blends of original ones. Hopefully with the knowledge they were greenlit to finish - Season 4 onward will be better. If you were a fan of the show - read the books, they really are so much better by an order of magnitude. Books 1 - 8 are written, the final book is out in October. Really disappointed in Season 3.
  19. It's just clicked past midnight in Oz.... So Merry Xmas to boardies past and present! Have a great one! Post your Christmas covers!
  20. Have we all stumbled onto the PGX website forum? Because this may well be what it would look like. Quit messing about with things that didn't need fixing!! Oh, and Merry Xmas!
  21. CGC 9.8 sells for $2025 90 day GPA - now over $1000 Book is getting some attention. I think even for $1k+, in a few years, it would be a good buy. I know there are heaps, but younger people (than me) love Deadpool. Joined the 9.8 club - finally.
  22. Oh Ok Thanks Kav, thought I'd missed something. Shouldn't you be waving willies with Greggy in another thread? First to 300 posts wins!
