True. But just because it's out there doesn't mean it's actually available to buy. But still a very valid point. Though 2 of the 3 shops I went to only had 9 and maybe one or two back issues on the shelves. Pretty much picked clean.

Well, I didn't buy them before because the #2s have cb spine ticks (+2 per book, small but still). But given that saga mania is in full swing I could still move them on the bay.

I have to do it over the course of several days or weeks. They only allow 2 copies per book per customer. Even if they have been sitting on the shelf for months.

Looks like it's time for me to head down to two LCS that have stashes of saga 2 and up for months and months with no one buying.

Another thing about the Y covers, I think a big reason there is a relative lack of high grade copies is because the covers didn't entice one to look after them as much as some of the other, more beautiful books.

Very true, but I love the cover with ampersand dressed up as hamlet. Wish I had a copy of it. Also speaking of covers. Saga does have that going for it as well. All the covers have to me at least an iconic feel to them.

I bet you could get at least 75 for it if you posted it on the bay.

I sold my double ss 9.6 to my buddy at work for 130 about a month ago when I upgraded. I think he's happy he got it then instead of now.

Guess I should be glad I did a trade about 3 weeks ago for saga books. Seems I was on the right end of that deal.

Hmm I have a 9.2 ss flub that I am holding on to because I thought it wouldn't sell. And I recently upgraded to a 9.8 ss. Might try to unload it.

Ya. I have a 9.8 already and wanted a raw. I will probably only ever have one saga rrp if I get one so I want it to be as nice as possible.

Well not like anyone is selling one atm. The two on eBay are outside my price range or have color breaking creases all over the front cover.

Glad I picked up a doubled ss of #1 for 80 about 2 weeks ago. Also glad I got in on the ground floor with this one, I don't have the stockpiles that some of you do but I'm happy with the 7 (I think) raw of #1 I have.
