So I lost a bid on a Bedlam b/w variant. But a got a second chance offer. The guy graded it as a VF+ but said it would most likely grade NM and that he undergrades to be safe. When I asked if he could specific a grade he said, "Def NM just not 100% if its 9.4,9.6 or 9.8.All I can say is when I received them they went inside a bag and board and in a top loader,so its been very protected"

Not sure if I should take the plunge and buy it or walk away. What would you guys do?

This is the only series I'm going for a complete set. Other series I'm happy with just the first prints.

I'm not complaining, well aside from the fact it's not next Wednesday yet.

The one shop I went to had it at cover. Glad they didn't try to mark it up.

I wanted one of each for myself so they could look all pretty next to my #1s of each series. I was hoping to find another variant of chew to sell so I could cover my expenses. No dice. But I'm cool with love them both.

Thought I would let you guys know. A LCS of mine had about 10 of the variant

I called up 15 LCS and all but one either never got it or were sold out.

I'm thankful I got the one for ten bucks. Very happy. I also picked up the WD 103 cover swipe. Think both covers are just so... adorable?

i got a variant, only 1 store had it, the other two LCS said people aren't buying Chew anymore so they don't order the title.

I was chatting with a friend on skype when I first saw a pic of that car. I was like "I so want that". He asked what and I of course told him. He called me stupid.

If I hadn't just dropped what I did on sketches, ss, and other buys from nycc it would have been an easy decision, but alas so many things you want so little money.

I was unsure on pulling the trigger on one of the pages. Checked back about half hour later and it was gone. Should have done it.

Thanks for the link, I'm debating dropping that kind of money on a page of Oa and the book isn't even out yet. Tough call, if that page where someone mentioned playing cards was there I would pull the trigger

I think everyone an their mother would want that page. Though they might not even list it because he wants to keep it for himself. Which I don't blame him, it's a great looking scene.

Currently bought 3 of NYCC variant and third eye. Have a deal in the works to pick up 3 of the Forbidden planet one. Trying to find someone to take my money for a b/w variant but seems no one here was able to get one (that is selling it) so I might have to go to bay (really don't want to).

I picked up a page and I rarely buy OA. I got lucky and got one with Madder Red in the dentist chair. I think the best page would be MR playing poker/fish/cards with the small child.

I liked the new episode. Good start on the season. Kinda like how I can read the books and still not know what exactly is going to happen in the tv show..

Just found out this got done Apparently Seeley got super excited it was a troy blank of revival and did his own thing. I personally love it! Can't wait to actually have it in person.

Soooo... poll which ones of you bought a NYCC variant whether at the show or from one of the fine people offering it on the boards? And how many?

I put myself down for 3. Liked the preview I read so want at least one for my collection and if the book hits big maybe sell one off down the road. But don't want to go all in and have it blow up in my face
