Not a link, but probably just as good since it's a picture of the front cover of the book itself:  :insane:

Bronze Age (1970-1979):Superhero, The Incredible Hulk #181 Signature Series: Stan Lee and Others (Marvel, 1974) CGC VF+ 8.5 Off-white pages....

Hope he didn't miss anything from this scrawled shopping list or he just might find himself sleeping outside in the doghouse tonight.  lol

    That's a freakin' travesty. :sumo:

I believe that there is a new huge group of collectors who want the SS books far more than any non signature books. It has been a perfect storm for comics over the last 2-3 years, the Covid 19 world wide lock downs forcing people to stay home and find something new to do, the death of Stan Lee, plus the huge economic supply issues. A lot more people have begun collecting things in a serious way, all over the world.

    Fairly self-serving opinion if I've ever . . . :roflmao:

Ice cold doesn't even begin to describe my sales.:pullhair:

I have 2 sales in the last 5 weeks.  My store has almost 400 listings.  I plan on listing a copy of Spider-Verse 6, and a copy of Catwoman 44 1:25 Sozomaika tonight maybe.  The Catwoman book is a 9.8 so I am hesitating because I sell so many raw books that are grading worthy.  I just haven't sent books to CGC myself in many years.  I need to start as I have tons of gradeable inventory.  I'm getting tired of packing up $4-8 books one at a time.  I'm putting together sets to alleviate that as I process boxes and consolidate like runs/mini series together.

I've got about 850 items up right now and I got use to shipping out 30 - 50 books a week and it's dropped to about 10 - 15 books a week.  I've not been posting up a ton of new books which does have an impact but with 850 books you would think there would be plenty of books in there.  I still get a handful of ultra low ball offers a day so there are people looking but all of them want nice books for dirt cheap.  I'm just going to sit back and see how things go this fall and adjust from there.  With all the stagnant inventory I'd think we will see more and more $5 blow out auctions in the near future.

I'm going on vacation for August - no listings at all after this week. :sumo:

If you buy a CGC graded book and crack it out of the slab, it becomes a raw book.  The label is in their database, and you are supposed to return labels of cracked slabs, but CGC has no way of tracking a comic that has been graded and later cracked out.

They're not putting RFID tags inside the comics.

They have scans, which are often enough, and memories to boot.
