  1. The beautiful thing here is the cut - 90% of these are mis-cut - nice copy!
  2. I keep hearing this....I know I have several of these somewhere. I was one of those suckers buying 3 of every number 1 at that time. Still waiting for Jemm Son Of Saturn t catch fire! And why is Camelot 3000 not collectible. What a great series that was. I have not even seen it before. My guess is that it's needs some pumpin' (er, or pimpin')
  3. Bolland's work on anything is amazing. Yep, I'm a yuge Bolland fan.
  4. I suspect those are pretty tough to find, but... that price is crazy. They definitely are tough to find. Even the newest #1 is seeing some decent sales again after going cold for a bit. U need to pick some up for your Cons they will be easy sales. I do not need to pick up any more, I just need to figure out which book I stashed the regular #1s and Phantom #1s in. I actually cleaned out the two LCSs that had them when they came out and I could flip the book for a quick double on eBay. "Zombie" "Tramp" was kind of a no-brainer from the get-go . . . what's not to like??? As FBS said, the only trouble was finding them.
  5. Should have already sold, if not ASAP. She might be one of the few in Suicide Squad I would not sell on. Early reviews are positive for her and with that long term deal she signed..... Later movies and second season TV series do not cause the same buzz as the first movie / season in terms of comic book sales. Do you think those Guardians books will see the same price with the new movie as they did with the first? Either way, take the high dollar now, then you buy back when there is a lull. BA 12 and a host of her earlier appearances are tough finds. How many characters really ascend to such lofty heights? In the last 20 years it looks like 2, Deadpool and Harley. She's also the exception when it comes to many other early appearances. I suspect that has something to do with the fact that many of those books were marketed towards kids who probably didn't encapsulate them or bag them either. The one book I can really see taking a dive is the Suicide Squad 1 and many other books that came after it. Unless it's a rare manufactured collectible like that Hughes variant I wouldn't be putting my money in anything Harley unless she's wearing her traditional costume. As evidenced by the 100+ copies of BA #12 that are currently on eBay? BA #12 has never been a "tough find". When news of the Suicide Squad movie started surfacing in 2013, the price sky-rocketed, but supply has always been readily available - I used to pick it out of $2 bins all the time when nobody cared about this book (or Harley in general). That was when we were buying it for Batgirl . . .
  6. I'm usually "sell! sell! sell!" but I disagree here. WW has always done it for me (when she is done right).
  7. Captain Marvel #26 was May 1973. War is Hell #9 was Oct. 1974 so you are correct. Yes, but CM 26 has waaaaay more going for it than death . . .
  8. Avast! ye knowledgeable human and get with the program!!!
  9. Apparently, I'm doing it wrong & backwards then. You were expecting the gravy train???
  10. Luv me some thematic crossovers . . . .
  11. Why should he? As long as a seller gets what he wants, and a buyer gets what they want, it's irrelevant.
  12. That's. Freakin'. Beeuuutifull. Man! That TOS was a "coffee table" book of mine in college . . . unfortunately, it ended up getting quite a few roach burns.
  13. I have the entire run bought off the shelf in likely 9.4 or better condition on all four books. Should dig them out. What's the print run on this? more fanboy porn . . . mistaken for art.
  14. divad prefers that the ink be dry on his books . . . .

Divad should start a thread calling it casual encounters and list nothing but one night stand books like those! I would! (but you'd all cry foul - that I was only advertising). Truth is, unlike you speculators, I rarely have more than one copy of a book.
