  1. I may have found something on that Copyright Records website about which you told me: I bolded the salient text. So I am guessing The New Mutants was delayed (but already had the cover printed), and Marvel decided to print off a small portion of Canadian price covers instead of trashing a bunch of single-price covers. All very interesting. (thumbs u Anecdotally, the run of MGNs from one of the collections I bought starts at #5, and there is no #4. And, one of my #5's is a later print . . . (still a sweet copy, though)
  2. I take exception to every word that comes out of your keyboard.
  3. Nothing. Just some guys who finally want to unload the multiple cases they have had in their garage since 1982. What better way than hype up a book that has zero relevance. Again, the book that matters is MGN #4 and that all depends on what the roster for this impending movie team consists of. You're such a dink - not everyone thinks MGN's matter at all. Btw, Donut - Google Fox New Mutants . . . . Whattauknow, Diva D chimes in. Put up a MGN 9.8 copy on ebay and I'll buy it off ya Diva. Coming right up BAAJ You're probably on all 8 of my blocked bidder lists (unless I missed one.)

  5. Good Golly Beejeezus! Just look at today's sales! New Mutants 1 I used to give these away as freebies with every sale . . .
  6. I love it when eBay tells you to relist an item, and "consider" lowering your price to make a sale . . . not once have they offerred to lower their commission.
  7. Well, maybe, but you can't argue that it's not the first concept or idea of there being a female Thor. She's no "lady" btw . . .
  8. Yeah, you should see what happens. About a year I listed my Marvel Preview 4 on ebay. One guy sent me an offer and then a few minutes later hit the BIN I do that all the time. If I see something that just got listed with a cheap BIN/offer and I am willing to pay full boat, I will throw in an offer to see if it triggers the auto accept. If not, I hit the BIN before someone else can snatch it. Probably looks really strange from the seller 's perspective, but there is a reason for it. This is one of the reasons I never list with an auto-accept price, unless they are very cheap books.
  9. By who...? This is an assumption. Do I need to whip out my Dark Knight Returns newsstands again...? By whom?
  10. The X-Factor title is what's really "killin' it" right now.
  11. You mean like this one? Deathlok 1 Or these? STAR WARS RETURN OF THE JEDI 1-4 Or maybe . . . New Mutants 100 You are the master of making chicken salad out of chicken mess. Aw shucks . . .
  12. You mean like this one? Deathlok 1 Or these? STAR WARS RETURN OF THE JEDI 1-4 Or maybe . . . New Mutants 100 Whhhhhhattt. Why not a 9.8 on that NM100? I was on the fence . . .

  14. So is Batman 40 going to be more hot in the long run or 41? Well after Superman beats the stuffing out of Batman in the movie, and Jim Gordon pulls out his War Machine suit to take his place for a bit, I'd say issue 41. Otherwise, it probably depends on how long they can keep the joker (or Bruce) dead for. Commissioner Gordon as Batman isn't going to last that long. Maybe long enough to pump the Gordon of Gotham mini-series.
  15. Well, I know it's been rumored, but now it's confirmed.
  16. There are a couple of extensive discussions of this in threads in the Copper Age forum. Interesting especially considering both are BA books SW 42 Dec 1980 MSS 16 Spring 1980 You can read the next 3 or 4 pages starting here. Not much there on the MSS #16. Interesting. Thank you for sharing, young lady. Perhaps you have a Vested Interest in starting this conversation anew?
