  1. a grand total of 12 copies sold on eBay since it's release fifty five hours ago... From the 24 possible listings on eBay and the fact that midtown and tfaw are all out, I think that's pretty good. The fact that comic collectors number in the hundreds thousand & Star Wars collectors number in the millions is enough for me... Yeah, if you're a speculator and not buying the Marvel Star Wars series, you're not very bright. In 2-3 years when this is on issue 70 and the movies are making a billion+, issues 1-10 will be in demand. And if not, you're out 100 bucks or so. And still got to read some pretty good books. Because they are good books. Always, this.
  2. No, not rare (none of these books are really "rare", but are desirable in HG to many collectors), but it may sell at a premium - Test the waters.
  3. I've never seen an MJ insert in a square-bound, I believe it's only a CF insert.
  4. I can confirm Bubblicious inserts in X-Men 174 and FF 259.
  5. I don't know "Junk Donkey", but it does sound like truth in advertising . . .
  6. How did you manage to only pay $20 in fees? I'm guessing it was an ebay promo that capped the FVF fees for a four-day window. I got the same promo, but didn't have time to get anything really pricey listed. Well done! Yup! It was the four day promotion and I capitalized as I listed many key books and only paid the $20.00, rather, than the $185.00 R_H That worked out nicely. I was able to take advantage of that promotion as well.
  7. Enough of this signature karp, let's get back to Bronze age comics that are heating up on eBay . . . DC Comics Presents 2
  8. Knightfall TPBs sell well. Did I point this one out already? Thanks to a Boardie's tip: ROM 31 (2nd Rogue App)
  9. The only value I see in ANY signature, is finding the next sucker to buy it.
  10. Well, as much as I hate writing, signatures, etc., a 5.0 is fair game. If it makes the owner happy, so be it. If I was selling . . . I could see pimpin' that book big time.
  11. They can't find any $4 books that they can sell with $6 shipping and call a $10 book. Beyond the usual BS that people have stocked up on and can't sell despite their best attempts to lie about it here, the first Mad Max Lux is a consistent $20 seller for me - as in I list it and it sells in under 24 hours - and the last I had I put with a Furiosa and sold for $30 in less than 12 hours. To me that's a HOT book, and yet very little has been said about it. And Furiosa is picking up steam. (thumbs u

  15. McFarlane Spiderman 1 (PB) and all other versions continue to sell very well in HG.
  16. Preacher 5 Preacher issues 1-13 continue to sell very well.
  17. I don't think that means what you think it means . . .
