  1. Yes. But the story is something else. It's quite nice that we get too see the POV of the supporting characters.
  2. I would agree, but say that Season 2's mid season was also stronger than the finale. The tension of that episode, along with the ending with Sophia was crazy. Especially since NO ONE saw it coming. It was Sofia. The kid. The kid is always found and is okay.... Yeah, I was having second thoughts about it. Probably, the season finale of season 2 was stronger for those who read the books, who knew who Michonne is and what the Prison was. But for the general viewing audience, the tension in the mid-finale was thick.
  3. Season 1. Season finale: CDC explodes, Group travels again to find safe refuge. Season 2. Mid-season finale: Shane snaps and lets all the barn walkers out, Rick shoots Walker Sophia. Season finale: Herd of walkers attack the farm, Rick declares "ricktatorship", Preview of The Prison and Michonne. Season 3. Mid-season finale: Group attacks Woodbury, Dixon brothers fight! Season finale: Governor unsuccessfully attacks the Prison, Group takes in all Woodburians. Season 4: Mid-season finale: Kill 'Em All! Group is split apart, Hershel dies. I feel that Season 3 and 4's mid-season finales are stronger than the actual finales.
  4. Daryl didn't tell Rick what happened with Beth because he didn't want to give Rick false hopes of ever seeing Beth alive again, regardless whether if she was taken or she left Daryl intentionally.
  5. cause of the movie I probably should have clarified my question. Yes, there is a movie, but the price spike seem to be too much. So, I was wondering, if the print run was also limited. After all, you didn't see X-Men 1 and Spider-man 1 of the 90's experience these dramatic price increase.
  6. Why is Guardians of the Galaxy 1 (2008) so expensive? Does it have a limited print run?
  7. Due to the sarcity of the latter? Thanks for the input.
  8. Seeking your advice. Is NM98 for BA12, both in raw fine condition, a fair trade? Who wins? Thanks!
  9. Not soon enough. Issue 4 felt a little slow to me (although it was sad) so hopefully it'll pick back up in issue 5. Plus, I want more Cheryl/Jason. I know whatever is going on with them is totally taboo but I'm completely in love with that angle. I wouldn't care if they pushed it back to an 8 week schedule if it meant the stories were longer. The writing has been great, but when half the book is a back-up story . . . Yeah, I don't even read some of them.
  10. Seeking your advice. Is NM98 for BA12 (First appearance of Harley Quinn), both in raw fine condition, a fair trade? Who wins? Thanks!
  11. +1 I expected it being a comic reader and although I didn't see it coming I think that took a lot of the impact away, also kind of predicted the whole "I forgive you" act once she told him. Still it was an incredible episode none the less! Exactly my point...sigh...
  12. Don't remember Lizzie and Mikka in the books. Jim Analogues of Ben and Billy.
  13. Watchmen 4! Time travel will make your head explode.
  14. I had a hard time accepting that it was Bob at the opening scene... because he was a bad- then. Not an alcoholic, irrelevant, Daryl's whipping boy.
  15. I agree with the points above, short read and longer waiting time between issues. This series is too excellent, so maybe Relativity theory is playing a part in testing my patience.
  16. Tara might be replacing Beth as eye candy. Google Alanna Masterson.
  17. Better put my response here: http://boards.collectors-society.com/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=7479970#Post7479970
  18. I finally was able to buy volumes 1-4 of this series, looking for a cheap volume 5. These will be displayed along with my complete volumes of Sandman and Preacher. If I were to choose the Vertigo Trinity, it will be Sandman>>>>YTLM>Preacher. I haven't read Moore's Swamp Thing and have yet to finish Fables so I don't know how good they are.
  19. All of us do. We've been raving about this since since page 1. Sometimes I'd like to think though, would I enjoy this series just as much if it did not star the Archies? What if it were new characters? Or is the Archie history part of the allure? At any rate, great series!
  20. Those covers are extremely lovely. I hope I can buy them from my LCS at cover. This and Manhattan Projects are the only two titles I collect.
