  1. Je l'aime aussi. Bonne chance! Hope you find one...
  2. And thanks to this board...I made a few calls...and voila... I'll pick up extra copies of issue 1 later (including another sexy Betty)...and.... Life With Archie 23 (Zombie Variant)!
  3. Loved the story. This is going to be big. It was very surreal seeing the Archie characters in a more mature light. I'm hooked. I still don't have cover B. But I got sexy Betty, so it's all good!
  4. Cover d is the hot one. Which one is that? The one with Betty in the nighty? Yes That is a very cool and sexy cover, I have to admit. I was surprised Archie Publications allowed it. It's very provocative. And if this issue is indeed bullish, expect this variant to lead the speculation pack.
  5. that's a nice room dntfeedthemonkeys! really sweet!
  6. :winnah: Agreed. Double-edged sword really. In our local ebay site, I filter auctions that have actual bids on them to see what items are trending. If anything strikes my fancy, I snipe it. This generally has resulted into cheap purchases of expensive items. CASE IN POINT: Y The Last Man 1 signed by BKV with COA from Midtown for 10$.
  7. Reason: 1) Sometimes, when sellers see no bids on their items but a lot of watchers, they end it prematurely to avoid selling low. Some bidders avoid this by bidding early. 2) Not all bidders can monitor their bidding activities. Some just put their maximum bid and leave it there, hoping they win. 3) Even for those bidders who monitor their activities, there might be some activities that will demand them to put off ebay for a while (1 or 2 days); hence, they put their maximum bid early But yeah, I hate it when a bidding frenzy starts on my watched items.
  8. I finally have a CGC Sandman 1. Yay! I'm glad nobody else bidded on it.
  9. Agreed. For the last several pages or so, Whetteon's post is the only post worth checking out.
  10. BizarroChuck, That's a super sweet Einstein sketch! Congrats man!
  11. I love TBBT. I have a working knowledge of the physical sciences so I guess that helps? (Sheldon might blast me for this though ). I love Science. I study Relativity, Quantum Mechanics and what have you. I have an action figure/memorabilia collection of my avatar. I'm also a comic hobbyist. It's like a marriage of my two passions. My girlfriend does not share my comic interests. But she loves the show as well. Someone made a comment about Frasier being intellectual comedy done right. I love Frasier, but I don't think you can compare it to TBBT. TBBT is not intellectual comedy per se, it's a comedy that deals with intellectual scientific concepts, on top of comic nerdiness. But it's a light, fun little jaunt.
  12. excuse my ignorance, what's an OPI? Outside Professional Intervention?
  13. Being outside US, I envy you guys. I only need an Einstein Sketch and I'm a happy camper...
  14. I almost dropped this title at 10. Not because of the quality, but budget constraints. Then I read 1-10 in one sitting and decided to continue with it. I'll just drop Revival or Nowhere Men instead. It's the best Image book being published, IMO, superior even to SAGA. But I still need to find a Pitarra Einstein sketch though for my Albert Einstein collection...
  15. Milton is way too obvious to be the firestarter. It has to be Morgan. I love TWD and it's the only TV show I follow currently, together with The Big Bang Theory and How I Met Your Mother, but... I'm getting tired of the show devoting episodes to just Woodbury or The Prison. I think it's lazy. It would work once or twice ala LOST but not every other episode. Also, TV Shows are not supposed to be defined by their ending, with the earlier episodes just building up to it.
  16. and the first Marvel Zombies series and the second as well.
  17. I'm getting bored with Negan's speeches. The past few issues have been a drag.
  18. That's nothing. Here's something that'll make you feel better. Two years ago, I bought a NM Walking Dead 19 for 1$. Since I had no idea of the value of the comic and the entire franchise, I sold it on our local ebay forums for 4$. I was happy with the profit. A month later, I randomly decided to check the price on ebay.com. I've been crying ever since. Anyone care to top this tale of woe?
  19. Hi, Is this too expensive for its price? X-Men 1 CGC 3.5 SS Stan Lee. Thanks.
  20. I believe I saw your auction in ebay.ph. An Image Lot consisting of Think Tank #1, Black Acre #1, and Nowhere Men #1. But there is a note that Nowhere Men #1 is not included. Exactly. LPC?
