Steve, you need to reread my comment, rather than just skimming it and firing off like a drunken sailor. I am simply wondering, as others have as well - including several lawyers, if Jan and Danny Jr are the clients, why Mark is seeking to gather evidence against their 'source of income", curtailing it greatly, or possibly ending it totally if Danny actually gets jail time. The thread title is: It's finally time to put Danny Dupcak out of business auction, which leaves no question as to the purpose of the money spent. It's not "let's get Danny to fulfill his familial obligations" as you would expect in a child support case... If Jan "needs the money" as you put it, why are you supporting Mark's quest to 'get" that source of income? It looks as if Jan and her child are being used as pawns in all this, and that doesn't seem right. I was questioning this: [font:Arial Black]People can spend their money any way they choose, and other lawyers have brought up the obvious ethical issues (like what if Danny goes to jail, thereby cutting off all support?), but I'm getting the feeling that since "the apple doesn't fall far from the tree", no one really gives a rat's butt about Little Danny Jr in all this. [/font] Something good "might happen". You have no reason to slam the people you do not know. I give a "rat's butt" about the kid. Your remarks were not needed or nice.

1) The immediate case is *not* about bringing Danny to justice, but about getting additional child support for his illegitimate progeny. 2) Through this case, Mark hopes to get access to Danny's illicit financial network, including potentially-fraudulent comic business, thereby using that in future cases. He PM'd me couple of weeks ago and stated he was going through some issues, but wouldn't divulge what they were, though I suspect it may be both legal and financial in nature...I just tried calling him - no answer but I left a message. divad Is clobberintime still on the list...he has bought several books from me without a hitch, and just recently purchased an FF 57 CGC book that I shipped on Jan 5 of this month, another flawless transaction (?) I am pretty sure that's a "no". But, either way, it is kind of a " you" to CGC, it is their boards.

I would never want to tarnish CGC's image in any way, love those people (thumbs u , but having my name different than others means that some people will take what I say as CGC's opinion or that they condone everything I say and that is not what should happen. Never did post in this forum before, might as well give it a try. Let me know by PM if this helped you, so I know if I should post here in the future or not. I will be listing a minimum of 50 CGC and raw books in the forum sales thread today (late afternoon/early evening). There will be Golden Age (many Fawcetts, couple of keys. Some from the Cumberland "SN" collection), Silver Age (some early X-Men including #1, TOS 4 & 6), as well as high grade Bronze, Copper, and Moderns (Watchmen 1, FF 212, Men Of War 1, What If 4, What If 105, Warlock 9 and many others that are all CGC 9.8). If I get a chance, I might post some original art ( I have a KILLER Van Sciver page!). No pre-sales See ya there!

And don't trash people's prices in public. Pm them, if anything. Especially that. I agree with all of that. Someone once thought I ruined their thread about a GA book for sale, I felt bad, bought the book for the asking price, and never looked back. I will never even imply something about a book now, unless it is positive. Something should be in the guidelines about that.

But that consensus was in relation to the existing 2-3 active threads mandate and why you would even split it up into more than one. It wasn't an open "you can post infinite sales threads as long as they're different enough" mandate. JC- Here are the rules that pertain to more than one post and bumps: No spamming. Group your for sale items into as few threads as is reasonable. Attempts to take up front page real estate by creating multiple threads for no reason are not allowed. Threads may be bumped three times total AND only ONE FULL DAY AFTER falling off of the front page. This does not include "sold" notices, or truly useful informational updates. Note: we CAN tell the difference between a real update and a fake bump-update. Tread that line at your own risk. If you're spam bumping, "lawyering" the rules will not save you. Where was I off here?

Just came on to this thread and gotta say......... I am nowhere near "above the law" here. There were one or two people who complained. Someone named Monstro even bumped one of my threads because they were disbarraging my stuff. He/she even told me by PM that they were INTENTIONALLY busting into my sales thread because he/she did not like me. That is against the rules, but I left it alone. Moonlite complained, but he/she would not answer when I asked what I was doing wrong. I still can't find anything that I did which even came close to breaking the rules. So, if someone made a sarcastic comment back the this person, a person who has nothing better to do than complain about my sales threads without reason, who cares? I, more than anyone else here, has to watch what I am doing as my name will be tied to CGC for awhile and they don't want me ruining their name. Now.........about the semi-porn/porn issue. I actually agree that there should be some seperation of TOTALLY adult pictures from the others. I posted a book that a friend had given me (along with a bunch of others) and, in hindsight, I should have covered up a bit of the cover. I am all for a "freeish" board, but I don't want my daughter seeing that UNTIL she is of an appropriate age that I deem fit. I also do not want a 15 year olds parent looking over their shoulder and saying "What kind of a site are you on! You stay away from that site!", that would hurt our community, not help it. I am not talking about the Cherry Poptart covers, that classic cover for Alien Worlds with the giant bare breated woman and such, but just certain comics, like the one I posted. Maybe we should have an Underground section that you have to be 18 to enter? Other sites have this. Not sure. I just know that I will be very careful in the future about what I post.
