  4. I just watched this last night, i highly recommend it
  5. Ha! i like the warhol quote at the end Let Andy Warhol have the last word in summing up what’s really going on; when he heard that the Mona Lisa was coming to New York in 1963, he said, “Why don’t they have someone copy it and send the copy, no one would know the difference.”
  6. Chris Ware on Charlie Rose https://charlierose.com/videos/31167
  7. I haven't, there are a couple of writers who have done so quite well, one is Dan Nadel ( who also includes comic artists in contemporary exhibitions) and the other is German Philosopher Klaus Theweliet. Suat (i can't remember his last name, I'm sure someone here can) is fantastic at putting comics in cultural context....he's great to read. anyway I think there are others who have more time and are more thorough than I, as well as better writers)
  8. Not really, but other hobbies brought me to OA collecting and that brought me to to researching and thinking about how comics and it's history fits into larger scope of art history generally.
  9. That’s the one I saw in person I didn’t realize there was 2 versions

  11. I seem to remember, not long ago, the most prized page on there being around 100 or so trackers
  12. Maybe it's just me, but it seems like the number of trackers is higher than usual......unfortunately you can't see tracking comps from past auctions.
  13. Thanks for doing that! My computer was glitching out yesterday
  14. http://adambaumgoldgallery.com/ looks pretty extensive with lots of great early work I'm not able to post a direct link to the actual images, so press Chris Ware "MONOGRAPH" under upcoming exhibitions, I assure you it's worth it!
  15. http://adambaumgoldgallery.com/ can someone tell me how to delete this second post?
