I just got notified my recent submission is being shipped when I looked at the pictures one of the grades as listed in the graders notes doesn’t match the grade on the label. How do I fix this?

Will CGC or someone to witness be at Baltimore ComicCon?
PhantomEwan replied to Jhwhite's topic in The Signature Room
I'm pretty sure Rich Henn will be there. -
A company that does a lot of signings with celebrities. They even do some cgc SS that they sell. I’ve got a couple on the way from their signing with Wilem Dafoe

So lets get the obligatory stuff out of the way. No bad people, you know who you are! Also no one I have on ignore. overrules any negotiations going on via PM. Time stamp will determine if there is a in the thread and one in a PM Shipping is FREE! I accept PayPal, if you want to send me a check or money order that is gonna slow stuff down, gotta make sure it is legit first before shipping. Returns handled on a case by case basis. I am going to try and work things out. Questions, need more photos let me know. Offers/trades? Worst thing I can say is no. I have been on the boards since 2012 and have dealt with many of you during that time, but I don't generally sell my books. Honestly can't remember if I have ever sold anything on here before. So I will put this one up and if I find something else to part with I may keep it going. Now on to the book(s) This book is difficult to find. Dreaming Eagles #1 Hokes Variant (which I believe there are only 100 of). But wait that's not all. Rich Henn was able to facilitate getting some of these signed by some of the surviving members of the Tuskegee Airmen Some of these were signed by two or three of these legendary American Heroes. But wait... this one was signed by four: LT. Colonel Harry Stewart one BAD Man and he turns 98 on the fourth of July. How cool is that? Also he was part of the team that won the first ever TOP GUN!!! Capt. Roscoe Brown unfortunately passed shortly after signing this book. LT. Colonel Alexander Jefferson unfortunately passed just a couple weeks ago (he smudged his sig. slightly, I guess stuff happens when you are 95) Brigadier General Charles Edward McGee only a Colonel at the time of the signing, and unfortunately also passed recently. He participated in the coin toss of Super Bowl 54. That isn't all, it still maintained a grade of 9.8! I recently reached out Rich who facilitated the signings and his best estimation is there were only about 20 books that were signed by all 4 of these extraordinary men. Unfortunately there will never be anymore. $2500

Giant Size X-Men #1 and/or X-Men 94 Club
PhantomEwan replied to HeroX's topic in Bronze Age Comic Books
@bronze johnnyI’m not sure. I actually won one and looked at the graders notes and almost had a heart attack. Fortunately the seller let me cancel. Then the next couple I found I checked the graders notes before bidding and the next three I looked at all had some mention of rusty staples. -
Giant Size X-Men #1 and/or X-Men 94 Club
PhantomEwan replied to HeroX's topic in Bronze Age Comic Books
I just won this my first ever! But while I was looking for it I noticed alot of these have rusty staples listed on the graders notes. I didn't even realize they have staples. Is it something special about this issue that I found so many with rusty staples? -
Correct. The newsstand editions were made with the cheap paper and no poster. So actually not positive if the error is the wrong cover or the wrong interior 😅

With how often it seemed Stan intentionally signed in the worst place possible, I was quite pleased with his signature placement on this one.

Good luck beating cancer! I know you need 3200 but you may have better luck breaking up the lot, into smaller more affordable chunks. -

Good morning and good luck finding your book. There is a section on the forums specifically for people looking for books and you will probably have more luck posting there : Comics Market - Want To Buy! - CGC Comic Book Collectors Chat Boards (cgccomics.com)

Better pics? That thing is gorgeous. Looks better than my 8.5.
