  4. Hmmm I know I have fans but I'm just sick of drawing and the fact that I cant criticise other artists freely-I value that right.

Was there a constitutional amendment to the 1st amendment removing your right to criticize others art that I missed? You're starting to lay it on a bit thick. Do you need some cheese with your whine?

  5. Sorry folks I'm done drawing for good-I'm just sick of the abuse I get on the boards about how lame I am as an artist.

This was the nail in the coffin

Maybe I missed something, I don't even understand dupont2005's statement. Doesn't seem like abuse, just seems nonsensical or out of context or something.

  7. I've never heard of a Woodgod before. If only there was a website you could type questions into and get answers back.

Great Gift of Knowledge (otherwise known as my good friend Google)

That was fast, lets try this again.

If only there were beautiful women with giant boobs knocking on my front door right now!

    ftfy

    Na, I'm bags of money.

Boobs can get you through times of no money better than money can get you through times of no boobs

Apparently you've never been to Amsterdam. Money can get you whatever you want (or so I'm told).

  8. I don't think he technically claimed them yet. I'm not sure?

If not, or if you split them up :takeit: just the TMNT books. :wishluck:

Ya I'm just not sure, was he claiming them or inquiring about shipping costs first? Rules lawyers? You can have 2nd dibs on the TMNT books if he wasn't making a claim or if he will let you take those if he was making an official claim.

  9. 3 modern run RAK's up for grabs

If available I'd like these. Let me know how much shipping is if I can claim them.

I'm pretty sure those are 3 Separate RAKs. Not 1 RAK.

I didn't explicitly say only 1 RAK per person so I'm not going to break anyone's balls over it.

They'd all fit in a flat rate medium box, assuming you live in the USA, that's about $12.

  12. doh! On my part then. I'll just stop talking I guess. :shy:

Still, I'm guessing he made a profit selling off what he claimed, if he was going to the con anyway. Whats a sig from chris claremont and grading cost these days?

  13. Those are all fine and dandy examples...

but clearly different than someone saying -

:takeit: that ASM #50 ... here is a TPB as my offering! And then a few days later seeing the ASM #50 up for sale.

One upon a time in the PIF thread, a member took some high grade Infinity Gauntlets (I think those were the books) and said "I always wanted to read this series" and IMMEDIATELY listed them on eBay.

However, not everyone has honorable intentions. :sorry:

The infinity gauntlet series wasn't really high grade, it was vf-nm range. But the whole PIF offer was infinity guantlet 1-6, lobo 1-4, death the high cost of living 1-3, Batman Inc 0-13, and Punisher (Rucka 2011) 1-16. The offer actually included mcfarlane spidey 1-30 but he decided to pass on those after the fact.

But ya a bunch of them including the IG run were on ebay about 5 days later.

Yeah - puke city. I'm sure the "offer" that followed was nothing sort of..."awesome". meh

The follow-up offer wasn't bad actually. he took a book to a con to get signed and graded, and he made good on the offer I was told.
