There are no recorded sales on GPA. OP started this thread over 6 months ago. The raw price has raised a little now though. Up to a $160 sale for a stated F/VF.

Awesome it that took the OP over 6 months to reply to the answer of his question. :roflmao:

  2. That’s what I was thinking.  Sounds like a good deal at $750 for the graded copy.

Guessing the OP is just hoping to try and squeeze more money but that could backfire if person walks away at a counteroffer.

Whats the likelihood that someone else would offer that much?

I emailed it to him, PayPal sent him a courtesy letter for him to resend.  But he doesn't respond.  He actually reported my email to eBay as harassment for requesting him to send the book back.  Total scammer and knows how to work the system

Maybe he's in the hospital and doesn't have access to his email?

You are calling this person a scammer as if he know that the return address was incorrect and decided, "hey I know what I'll do...I'll put in a claim to get my money back, send the book back to the old address only to have the book returned to me so I can keep it"

  5. I remember first hearing about CGC at SDCC in 2001. I signed up for an account at their booth and received vouchers to submit.

I didn’t submit anything at the show but knew I wanted to send in my Hulk 180-182.

I also had no idea how to grade and really just wanted to have the books in a nice display. Granted I could have done this a lot cheaper then sending them off to CGC but it didn’t matter.

These books were graded in early 2002 and have been hanging on the wall ever since

I'm not saying they are responsible for the original error. If they had an error from Diamond/skybound whomever  they should have sent me a message BEFORE they couldn't do anything about it. I wasn't implying who was responsible for the error, but that they had one. I responded to the cancellation message right away, and just now got a message saying they couldn't order the book that had an error. There's way too many days between them realizing that there was an error and when they decided to make it known, and way too long to respond to my last message too. DCBS may not have been responsible for the error, but they definitely didn't do anything to help the situation.

I got an email this morning from DCBS letting me know that the #132 Blind Bag came up for order again and they went ahead and added to my standing order to replace the #138 that was cancelled.  Happy to see them follow up like this.

You might want to check in with them if you didnt receive the same email.
