I was recently able to help Chris with his collecting needs.
Great guy to talk to and a pleasure to deal with. I would not hesitate to just chat or deal with Chris again.

Am I the only one thinking this was kind of weak?
I didn't care for TV Andrea. She was an insufficiently_thoughtful_person. Not a big season ending for me.
Last 2 episodes were so much better.
I agree with you. The finale WAS weak. At least we won't be haunted by Lori's "ghost" anymore it seems...Ugh...

Rick is being a complete and utter mess head - I do not like how his character is this season, at all...

Just got this back from CGC...
Amazing Spider-Man (vol. 2) #36 - 9/11 WTC Tribute Issue - Signed by JR JR on 9/9/12
As a Canadian, I will remember that day (9/11) for the rest of my life, where I was and how I felt - I watched it unfold live at work in a crowded boardroom with many, many colleagues who were upset, crying and shocked beyond belief. Even thinking of it now seems surreal. I am pretty confident in saying almost every single Canadian's heart bled for our friends to the south that day and the days that followed.
I think Marvel did a good job at with this book, they tried and succeeded to make an honest tribute. I think Spidey was a good choice of hero to carry the narrative. The final page spread honouring the true heroes of that day with Marvel heroes did end the book with a sense of hope and strength.
Anyway, this is a book I am pleased to have in my collection.

Currently yes
Damn you guys are harshThx Doug
That display is cool - all married men - me included - are just jealous
But not a day goes by where I wouldn't happily trade it all in to have a loving wife by my side
Perhaps I was too harsh...
While it is not my personal style, you had the guts to share your collection/living space with us.
As long as that sword isn't decapitating unsuspecting visitors, enjoy what you like, while you can is a good motto.
Any specific comics you are particularly glad to own?

Since I do the majority of my comic reading in my bedroom, I've been slowing turning it into my comic room. As such here we go.

More of the Comic Apartment soon
more of a wank room than a comic room eh?

sweeeet copy!Found this in a comic shop while visiting my brother and his family for the holidays in VA
I don't normally buy Silver Age, but when I do, I prefer Batgirl
Why the Silver Age rules...That is awesome.

I primarily collect Amazing Spider-Man, but when I come across a good deal or keys, I just can't pass em up.
Purchased as part of a larger collection. Two examples of what I intend on keeping for myself.
Batman #227 - Classic Neal Adams cover
Iron Fist #14 - 1st Sabre-Tooth

I was finally able to pick up my July sub. They arrived at Paradise Comics just before Christmas! I was hoping for a 9.6 but I am still quite pleased with my 9.4 ASM #238 (white pages, tattooz included).
The books came back?!! Peter never called me...
I have 13 books I've been waiting on. Guess I should drop by and pick them up.
Nice looking Spidey btw. (thumbs u
When did you sub your books? Mine were subbed in early July...If they are in, they were probably just really busy with the holidays and getting ready for their Boxing Day sale?
Thanks and those are some cool books in your sig too!
-
Sweet, get it in your sig!
Says I have too many characters, gotta delete one I guess...
Thanks again
