  1. Thanks. This is my second or third time picking these “variants” up when I see them. In case it isn’t obvious, the two in the back row are also DCU.
  2. I found these while killing time at my LCS: 51 is second printing
  3. Is the Canadian version >, <, or = to the American version?
  4. Wizard World Chicago pickups. After counting pages, everything is there and attached (except for Lucky 7, but it was noted). I did find out the Sparkler was manufactured with one staple and the Lucky 7 is the Canadian version. The Terrors of the Jungle also only manufactured with one staple, but also noted before purchasing.
  5. General Q: At large, multi-day shows like this, what % of dealers re-stock (or bring the inventory to re-stock) from one day to the next?
  6. I didn't think he was that tall, but the rest fits.
  7. Who's the guy who follows Carbo around and wears sunglasses indoors all day?

  9. May have paid a tad too much, but one I had not seen previously. And how do you price something without any recent sales anyway?
  10. Currently, and in the past few months of completed sales, there appears to be quite a comparatively high number of This Magazine is Haunted #2 with "complimentary" stamped on the cover.
  11. Considering several items/scans are directly from eBay (though other users), yeah.
  12. Some collectors, yes, prefer to have signatures witnessed by CGC. When asking on a CGC forum, you're likely to get an SS bias compared to asking a random 100 comic collectors.
  13. Just received three books from eBay (two sellers) and everything attached and complete.
  14. Wow; that's not good at all. Is that strictly incomplete copies or also counting detached centerfolds/similar large defects? If that Terrors of the Jungle checks out...
  15. Said they were complete in the listing, but definitely have to check each GA comic that comes in. Though it takes time away from my box digging, I'm going to have to start implementing this more at shows to avoid major disappointment later. I have some purchases from earlier in my collecting I spent some good money on I'm afraid to check.
