  1. Thanks for the info! And welcome to the boards! Great info! WELCOME!!!
  2. This thread just will NOT die, bwahahaha! After all, it IS Undead!
  3. I don't know which is more cool: the cover art, or the fact that this horror comic once belonged to a little girl named Jane. WoM #27
  4. I have a complete raw run of nearly every BA DC horror title. Shiverbones does, too. Mine span the gamut of grades from lowly g/vg all the way up to nm/m.
  5. Yeah, Ace may have had several stinker covers, but more & more I'm finding many of the covers pretty cool & generally not appreciated.
  6. "She Stalks at Sundown" or something along those lines. I gave it a quick read last night. Ace comics are often wordy compared to some other PCH publishers, must be because of their book publishing background.Cameron never fails to satisfy. I liked the final panel the most!
  7. The professor was always getting too WRAPPED UP in his studies... WoM # 23.
  8. Sure. My perspective, like I said, is that it looks to me as if there are more high grade slabs out there now. However, my high grade perspective is limited to this thread. I really wanted to know what you guys who actively collect slabs thought. BTW- great books, Sterling.
  9. You always have such NICE copies! Here's my WoM # 22. Ya know, this is yet another cover that stands out from the rest of this run, IMO.
  10. Since only Sterling ( surprise!) & Shivs were really the only ones who replied, I'm going to be kind of pushy & bump (sorry, Sterling!) this particualr post, seeing as it appears to have been buried by a parade of 9.4+ books. Ironic, no?
  11. That is a very nice copy, HH! Hey, don't worry if something has already been shown (I don't think that your WT has anyway), it is always a pleasure to see everyone's personal copies.
  12. I LOVE that cover! I've been looking for a cheap reader, myself. BTW- nice stamp date on that cover.
  13. I have a question for the high grade slab collectors. Do you feel like it is generally getting easier to get BA horror in 9.4 and higher? Are more examples coming to market? I don't have a finger on the pulse of the high grade market, as some of you know. I DO enjoy looking at the fine examples in this thread, and it just appears to me that more high grade is now out there lately. Am I wrong? Experts, please kindly clue me in.
  14. Hello & "WELCOME TO THE BOARDS!!!" Happy to have you here!!!
  15. While this might not be the best cover of the run ( # 21) there is something about those baby spiders that CREEPS me out.
  16. YELLOWJACKET springs to mind ASAP, I'll have to get back to you on the particular issue, but I believe the story even had a "witch" narrator. The Yellowjackets had a narrator for a horror story with narrator for a several issue sequence. I read somewhere that out of the 10 issues, all but two had a horror story, don't know if they were all hosted by an "Old Witch" or not. I haven't been able to pick up any YELLOWJACKETS at a cheap price to verify any of this.
