Picked this one up from Ted at Superworld... great deal

While I'm not normally a Shi fan I've wanted this since I saw it in the most recent Overstreet. Rather hard to find without a signature on it...

I can vouch for Bunkybrothers at least being some nice guys. Met them at the SDCC this past year and both are very personable. Pretty knowledgable easy to talk to. They also respond to questions quickly. I haven't had a chance to purchase from them yet since I tend to go for obscure GA, but their site is easy to use with tons of search options. Definitely a nicer set up than some of the other sites listed in this thread.

Arch doesn't love gold as much as silver?

Mine? It's about a 6.0-6.5. Price was very reasonable. It was cheaper than the 4.5 that they had on their site for months.

I've been looking for this since San Diego Con this past year and this is be best one that I could find. I got it from Metropolis after calling them because they didn't have one listed on their website. While I still want a higher grade (if anyone has one for sale let me know) I'm happy to have one at all...

Ok I need help from you guys. I've been trying to hunt down a Beyond #20 (Ace Periodicals) for some time now and can't find one in high grade. I want one in VF or better. Anyone know where I can find one? The best I've found is the 4.0 on Metropolis' website. Here's what it looks like for those that don't know...

I picked this on up in SD. It's actually my first horror cover... These late Jumbo covers are kind of hard to find...

Why would one need a "spare"? What exactly are you doing with that comic?

I was looking at the one on Metro's site for a long time. Then this one popped up on their page for $175. I had to jump on it. My wife told me I would be an insufficiently_thoughtful_person if I didn't get it I don't know if it was put up at the wrong price or what, but I wasn't going to hesitate and let them change the price.

According to Metropolis it isn't. It will be on it's way to CGC soon.

While I love this cover I was a bit disappointed with the grade. Looks decent in the scan and was sold to me as NM, but up close it's F/VF with resto There's a tear seal (definitely amature) that is beyond obvious. You would think a major dealer would notice something like that... Anyway... still pretty to look at and it's by Bob Lubbers.

That Jungle #56 is sweet...

I know it's not Action Comics #1, but Fiction House had a pretty decent run. I'm a fan of the "Wings Comics" and "Ghost" series. Let's see some of the favorites from the rest of you (shameless attempt to get JB to post his books). It doesn't have to be covers. I'm looking for anything related to Fiction House... art, books, whatever.... Picked this up last night... Hard to find in almost any grade and never sells for guide. I'll get a better scan when it arrives....
