  1. Highest recorded 9.8 on GPA for Bats #232 is a movie hype fueled 4K in 2007. This year the highest is 1.8K. (thumbs u So with 2 books 9.8 Bats 227 selling at $10M and $6600 and a 9.8 Bats 232 selling at $1.8M, would it be safe to say that 227 is a more valuable book apples to apples?? Im looking for evidence to support the claim based on fact not opinions. Either way doesnt matter as my goal is to be 100% unbiased.... thanks for the 1.8M fact Bats 227 is the more valuable book. If you want evidence, this is a good place to start: http://comics.gpanalysis.com Thanks. I met a dealer that told me 232 is key and more valuable apples to apples in gtrade and that 227 is not key it is only a cool cover and one person paying a premium price doesnt mean its more valuable So i have been investigating

  3. Does anyone happen to know what has been the most ever paid for a Batman 232 9.8 and versus a Batman 227 9.8?? Im always interested in apples to apples of key books. Of course htis would be the same if we were talking 9.2 vs. 9.2 and so on I know big collectors pay high premiums on some of these rare books therefore skewing the possible values. is a 232 overall more valuable than a 227? Both books are beautiful so the financial aspect is my interest not the preference or opinion but is there factual info to back the value claims? Both are winners in the case for sure (thumbs u
  4. whats a good asking price for Captain America 100 CGC 8.0?????
  5. This guy is in argentina he only deals in mexican books :'( I turned him down but maybe later ill buy his mexican captain america 100
  6. yeah you are right...i offered $250 but he is like you and me, he is a collector He selling that Mexican Cap #100 would be like you selling your Aussie Batman 232 I respect him becasue he is more like us than not...
  7. ok thanks i found one for $400 so im thinking about it I found a Mexican version but the guy wants $900 as it is insane rare... im thinking about it
  8. Can anybody give me a good ballpark price for CAPTAIN AMERICA 100 CGC 8.00???? im not sure for a reasonable offer Thanks
  9. Hola Amigos!!!! the ONLY Mexican to exist on the CGC Census signed by Stan Lee 2449 Americans 28 UKs But only 1 Mexican Este es un libro chingon!!!! Of course the American is the most valuable but I love rare and scarce keys http://www.cgccomics.com/census/grades_standard.asp?title=Los+Hombres+X&publisher=Marvel+Comics&issue=1&year=1966&issuedate=1%2F66
  10. You make a good point Revat! You think they are losing potential revenue because past customers didnt like the time process? I love their product, its the production turn around that is terrible and unreliable they to change fast track prices to a larger range like 20-45 Days so its more reasonable up front
  11. Also, for CGC, no direct competition. -slym You just hit the NAIL on the head my friend! No governing and no competition makes the customers lose $$$. just imagine if the stock market was ran this way.....It would be 1929 everyday
  12. Does everyone think its a great to pay a "Fast TRack" Service and you dont get it? Wish they could guarantee their processing fast tracks. If you defend CGC, i guess that means you accept the way they do business. I ,make lots of money in the stock market and we have Trade Date(the day you buy) and Settlement Date (the day you get it) we stick to the rules or we get fined or we can lose money. but then again i know thre is no governing body I hope no one is dumb enough to point this out....hahaha
  13. so Fast Track from March 29 and still no books sounds like I got bumped to "Slow" Track
  14. No seems to be able to give me an answer so i assume either no ones knows a tunr around or no read the post... Or no one can understand what you're asking. Are you simply asking what "turnaround time" means? The turnaround times are listed in Ace's post above that he copied directly from CGC's website. i understand definitions. I want to know if 31 days past the 20 business mark is normal and how many more days can i expect? I paid Fast TRack, AM I the oly one not getting what I paid for??
  15. No seems to be able to give me an answer so i assume either no ones knows a tunr around or no read the post... its all good

  17. Economy ($40) Fast Track March 29th Bronze book Its been 43 Days, what is a turn around rate???
  18. Oh god tell me it's moderns not value. It is a 1970 bronze book. That makes a difference in them doing their job?
  19. Isn't it business days? How many business days? im just saying its been 43 calendar days. business or calendar... which can i expect??
  20. So i got a Fast Tracked on March 29th, when is a reasonable date i can expect it back being I paid for "fast" tracking?? Today, May 10th, is the 43rd Day so im trying to see what an actual expectation is.....
  21. +1 DG I have set out to do what has never been done. Buying American books at any price is as easy as clicking the buy it now button I am proud to say I have shown Neal Adams books to sign he drew that he has never seen. Don't get me wrong. I've always liked foreign comics. It's McFarlane and that Spider-man #1 cover that I can't stand. Not wild about Punisher either. DG I probably have foreign keys of the books you like. Haters will hate on McFarlane its all good. Foreign comics are just novelties to me. Being a key doesn't make me like them more or less unless you go back to comics from the 40's or 50's. After all is said and done, they are still reprints. I actually prefer my comics from India that are not reprints of American content and they are in English so I can read them. McFarlane is overrated. Simple as that. He draws cartoon-like expressions and bodies contorted into impossible positions. He's overdramatic with the use of capes and costume accessories. I'm not impressed by any of the artists that formed Image. It's not "hate". I'm completely apathetic towards it. DG Funny you mention 40s or 50s, I just bought a Swedish Batman #1 from 1950. they are novelty for you, but serious collecting for some. To each is their own. McFarlane may be overrated but here you are still talking about him instead of whoever you think is underrated.... I like the Indian comics I have a few i like those too. but back to 1990s hard to find books...... Swedish Batman#1 is cool. Of course I'm still talking about McFarlane. You accused me of being a "hater" which simply isn't an accurate assessment. I own some McFarlane comics. I just don't see anything that warrants all the praise he gets. On the topic of McFarlane... I submit this relatively HTF TPB... Evidently, I have three of these now. DG how much do those cost that is pretty cool... its ok not to like some artists, we all do it. you have 3 would you be interested in selling one?? Yes and no... but I'm going to say no due to the chaos going on around me. If I change my mind at some point I'll let you know. I was trying to get two set of the Diamond Limited TPB's and couldn't pass up a third one of this when the opportunity came it's way. Price really varies on these because people don't know it exists or even what it is. If I sold it for what I think it's worth and you found one a month later for $15.. you'd be a little irritated. Try to find a better bargain than I'd want to give. DG no problem i understnad being an american book im sure i can locate one or two fairly easy... Rare books that im willing to pay almost anything are Batman 227 (Australian) ASM129 (Denmark) ASM129 (Colombia)
  22. Great story Peter!!! Your main collection is Swedish? Do you have Norwegian or Denmark connections?
  23. Everything is for sell, EXCEPT the Mona Lisa (thumbs u For the right price every collector swiftly shifts to a seller Price might be insane, but there is always a price About 10% of my books were "not" for sale, yet now they are mine
