  1. Chinese Batman. I showed this back in January. Its the same guy who is asking $250 for a Japanese Superman 300 and it later popped up for $6... http://www.ebay.com/itm/CHINESE-BATMAN-COMIC-RARE-SCARCE-/290902645373?pt=US_Comic_Books&hash=item43bb261a7d
  2. odd you mention chinese marvel what, are you like reading my mind this week?!?!?
  3. Jreezy and DiceX are right... dont give credit to them when they take your money up front and dont deliver on time... I submitted foreign books and even gave htem the correct indicia information and they STILL got it incorrect becasue they have to "research" themselves... hookers are more precise than CGC....
  4. Lets NOT give them credit. My modern submission took exactly 177 Days.
  5. I know what book you're referring to. Really? They're the first appearances of Brainiac and Bizarro. Ahhhhhhh...... Shows what I know??? I'm curious tony, can't wait to see it! for some reason i beleive you... i should have not said anything
  6. What?? I had a 4/1 invoice and I got them today Was it signed or does SS matter? I got mine signed on March 29 Friday. Wow you only did FAST TRACK????
  7. In exactly 2 days and 1 hour i will score a rare book, Most shocking to me the book itself doesn't have the key words to actually locate it properly in Ebay. If the seller listed it by its correct US version it would definitely sell more than $9.99 no one in this forum has the book... "Thats all I have to say about that" - Forrest Gump
  8. Ok great so 6 weeks is a safe bet to anticipate on FAST TRACK.... Thank you BERR Thirty!! Waht time is it??? Its Beer Thirty!!!
  9. From anyones experience, how long did it take to get a Fast Track Book? I got a rare book signed valued over $1000 on March 29th and I am trying to figure a return date as I got a buyer ready to go. Dont know whether to wait or demand 10% cash down to reserve it
  10. Only Brazilian and French #227's signed by Neal Adams. At 70 years old I was able to show Neal 2 books he had never seen in 42 years and said I made his day. Making Neal Adams' day...Priceless http://www.cgccomics.com/census/grades_standard.asp?title=Batman&issue=40&publisher=D%2EC%2E+Comics&year=1971&issuedate=1971 http://www.cgccomics.com/census/grades_standard.asp?title=Superman+et+Batman&publisher=D%2EC%2E+Comics&issue=43&year=1972&issuedate=1972
  11. For the $6,652.00 you spent, you can join our club. Nice book! Wow that cost more than the Amazing Spiderman #129 9.8 Highest Grade 9.8!!! Some stats to keep in mind (I always find this sort of random stuff interesting.) There are now a whopping sixty ASM 129 9.8's in the census. That is a staggering amount of supply when you put it in perspective vs. the Bats 227. And after eleven years now of slabbing, cracking, pressing, and re-slabbing; the Bats 227 still only has 5 blue label 9.8's in the census with a single yellow label in existence. Considering what this 227 SS 9.8 sold for last year, LP got a great price and remember, he had to beat someone else out to win the auction. I salute you my friend and congrats on the acquisition. A true grail indeed. And can you imagine cracking a blue label 227 9.8 in an effort to acquire a NA sig and then taking on the risk of having to re-grade it again from scratch? That is also worth a significant premium. You make a good point Boba Fett! Not sure if this is a factor but Batman 227 came out in 1970 and ASM129 came out in 1974 so not sure if 4 years made it more difficult to get the 9.8 Grade... on a Foreign variant note and from all our research..... Bats #227 = 6 variants Asm #129 = 37 variants (most variants of any book)
  12. For the $6,652.00 you spent, you can join our club. Nice book! Wow that cost more than the Amazing Spiderman #129 9.8 Highest Grade 9.8!!! but if you are dropping serious dough on the #227, you should go after the by far more scarce foreign #227's from Australia and Lebanon they will set you back a grand a piece. By the looks of your new book, you are a big dong baller my friend!
  13. I really have a soft spot for the Superman #400, #300, and #276 Here is my US and Australian versions signed by Elliot S! Maggin I met him at Starbucks and chatted with him. He told me crazy stories about the old days......He signed all my Superman #275 as well. He is a cool guy if you ever meet him.
  14. Elliot Maggin was the person that phoned all these artists to get them to do pages. he signed my #400 and Australian variant. Elliot will be signing at San Diego Comic Con if you get that you will have a beautiful book unmatched by anyone... Wow i love it!!!!
  15. I'm not doubting you, but am just curious on how you know that this is a complete set? Are there published lists of where different international versions of US comics were released? I've seen others talking about complete international sets of issues and have wondered this for a while. Good Question!!! (thumbs u Extensive Research and checking the Galleries of every known published country in which i verify in my own databases. I create lists in Excel of each Key Book and all the variations. It is confirmed through collective research with my friends as well we all look and share knowledge of key books. Until it can be proven incorrect, it stands as "Known Variants"..... There are 33 different ASM129s, I have about 30 so Im up there in with 2 other cats in the biggest ASM129 collection in the world. These books are super low prints and by far more scarce than the mass printed American books. An Australian Batman 227 or 232 will set you back easily $1000 or more....
  16. Only Complete Foreign Set of ASM328. It took about half a year to find them all. I enjoy making these sets as finding high end American Books are really about just clicking the Buy it Now button if you have the money. Been there done that (thumbs u Top Row: US Direct, US BArcode, Greece, Netherlands, Finland Bottom Row: Mexican, Spain, Thailand, Brazil, Germany Todd will sign all in October 2013. All are ZERO CGC'ed except US versions
  17. D-A-M-N that is F-U-C-K-I-N-G BOMB Ronnie!!!!! The Cheetah strikes again!!! Post that in the Foreign Section
  18. Hey Thanks Ronnie!! Was surprised to see you on the boards! Your always there like a Cheetah in tall grass. Did your guy ever find an Arabic?
  19. Wow what does a 9.4 Batman #200 run? Never saw one that high of a grade..... Not sure without checking GPA. I bought it as a raw VF/NM and subbed it myself. Wow you hit a home run!!! how kmuch did you pay for the raw #200??? Go get it signed by Neal I paid about $110 for it and the last GPA on a 9.4 was $317. (thumbs u Easily a $400-450 book with Neals signature I would think. Love to see more of your stuff! Im still looking for a nice 227.
