  1. CGC won't grade this first black and white issue for that very reason. That is why I send these to IPS for testing.
  2. So if it's true that only 50-75 copies were made, I wonder how many still exist?
  3. 15 years ago, when I first joined these boards, I thought I could compete with him. And I did, for a few minutes. Since then I have been stuck in the mud and he has taken off on a rocket ship. I gave up more than 10 years ago.
  4. Of course. He is one comic short. He has a gazillion more points than I do, and could easily fill the last open slot. For whatever reason, he chooses not to, which leaves me as the only 100% guy.
  5. I 100% completed the Cherry Poptart and DC 100 Page registry. No one else has completed these, yet.
  6. Found this on Ebay a few days ago.
  7. No, but they have porn. Who doesn't like that these days? OK, nobody will admit to it.
  8. Cherry Poptart #2 and Funnybook CGC 9.8 are also going to explode soon. At least $50,000
  9. CGC recently graded a new Cherry 23x that has "Kitchen Sink Press" as the publisher on the label. Wrong
  10. Kitchen Sink Press ended with Cherry 18. Cherry Comics is the publisher of issues 19-23x, as well as some later prints of earlier issues. The label for the 23x with "Kitchen Sink Press" is an error.
  11. I'm just quoting Sharon from her e-mail to me. Maybe hottub sent the info to CGC and they just accepted it. Or maybe CGC just got it wrong.
  12. You can buy copies of 23x for $5.00 plus $3.50 shipping. Contact sharon@larrywelz.com
  13. Nope. Never seen it. Don't spend much time on comics these days though.
  14. The threads that make the "Popular Now" area show just how much things have deteriorated on this message board over the years.
  15. Just in case anyone thinks I am delusional (which I certainly am), my comment about having some DC 100 pagers that I think are 10.0 was a joke. There will never be a 9.9 or 10.0 100 pager. If there was, Greggy would have found it/them already.
  16. I'm glad you kept it (for your sake). Smart move. I wish I could go back in time to 2016 and buy the 9.2 auctioned on Heritage.
  17. When are you posting the good stuff?
  18. I see that. Just wondering if you kept it or sold it. None of my business I guess. A gorgeous book!
  19. I may. However, Greggy still would first get a shot at what he needs. I respect him very much.
  20. He is only missing Young Love #114. Only two have been graded by CGC, and I am fortunate to own one of them. My copy was graded so long ago that it has the Modern (red) label. I'm sure almost everyone knows that Greggy's 100 page collection is legendary. He has 58,245 registry points for this set, which is absolutely impossible to beat, no matter how much money one may be willing to spend. I am 2nd at 35,021 points, and 3rd place is 12,854. So you can see there is a huge dropoff. I have thought about selling off my 100 page collection several times, and if I do, Greggy gets first choice for the two or three books (out of 115) that could improve his collection.
  21. Greggy has a 9.8 White pages. Census currently shows 9 Blue Label 9.8's. When I last checked the census for all 115 100 pagers, there were none higher than 9.8 (this was a bout a year ago).
