  1. Actually, same with Stan Sakai and Usagi Yojimbo; he keeps all the interiors and sells his covers.
  2. I've reached out to Michel Fiffe about his published work and he doesn't sell.
  3. Hekla

    Congrats

I believe the term among geologists is 'fragmented ownership'
  4. I noticed that one of the NFT producers was proposing a comic book based on their NFT and projected millions of dollars because 'weekly comics are $20'. New single issues are pricey, but not pricey enough to add millions to his valuation.
  5. Good question. I don’t follow the Larkin market, but Star Wars was hot then with D+ Mandalorian hype and a public sale would have made waves. 40k-50k maybe. Did you have a lead in 2020?
  6. I've heard from others about that ESB cover on ebay, which would be an ultimate grail for me. A seller posted a GSXM 1 page on ebay a couple of years after I started collecting.... 10kBIN if IRC. Was a ton of money but I anguished over it and messaged the seller and had a good chat; then it was gone.
  7. I didn't start buying OA until 2010 (had just gotten back into collecting comics again the previous year) but I remember panel pages being plentiful on ebay for $100-ish BIN. There was a Kirby Captain America 101 (maybe 102? but it had no image of Cap) page on ebay that sat for $1000 for a long time and I couldn't quite pull the trigger on it. Got hooked pretty quickly and found the ComicL group and then this site and CAF shortly afterward.
  8. Maybe, but Love & Belonging and Esteem look like the best candidates IMO.
  9. Bullseye was my favorite DD villain, and this is a great Bullseye page; but wow
  10. For my kids (early 20's) Deadpool comics and Cartoon Network Teen Titans are their biggest superhero-nostalgia touchstones. MCU and DCU movies to a degree, but lesser.
  11. Will be interesting to see how the remaining auction trends.
  12. Not sure when the SW4 Gamestop variant Cover B (Bounty Hunters cover) popped, but there aren't many listed at the moment.
  13. Was tracking the Rosa pieces too and they went for way more than I expected. A few other comic items I was tracking (with juice) J. Buscema Thor 242 P. 27 - $4.5k Byrne Uncanny X-Men 122 p. 6 - $35k Eisner Contract With God p. 53 - $5.5k Moebius John Difool 2 p. 46 - $13.7k Lauffray Star Wars Heir to the Empire 1 painted cover - $143.75k (1st Thrawn which everyone is expecting to show up in the SW cinematic universe soon) Mac Raboy Flash Gordon 1963 Sunday - $2.75k
  14. 1st issue of Wynd didn’t grab me. Boom has had a lot of very good titles recently, but this felt like a typical entry in the ‘kid on the run’ genre.
  15. Lots of Oblivion Song sales today with the Jake Gyllenhaal announcement.
  16. That’s nice Brian… who is the artist? I can’t quite make out the artist sig
  17. Love 'em or hate 'em, they are a regular part of our hobby. Here the homages in my collection. XO Manowar 1 Variant by Bob Layton, homage for Iron Man 128 Fave of my homage covers since it's by Bob Layton (original artist for 128) and I was a fan of the Demon in A Bottle run as a kid, plus I really like XO-Manowar.
  18. Actually, We Can Never Go Home was good, and I liked 4 Kids Walk into a Bank too. Haven't read Space Riders
  19. I made a lot of cash off of Young Terrorist 1 variants. Did issue 2 ever come out?
  20. About halfway through Wicked and Divine and I’m enjoying it. Gillen can be quirky, but he has strong plots and this book fits the bill.
