  1. I've bought from Anthony's before and haven't had any problems; he's usually pretty quick & he has a good reputation. You should send him an email asking the status of your piece. Good luck and post it when it comes in!
  2. Thanks Ouch! on the buying before the sale. However, you got the piece you wanted. When I found out about the sale, the top three pieces on my want list were spoken for before I got my request in. Although the DPS didn't any great action scenes with the stories' hero's, it really showcases CPW3's pencil skills. I could stare at this piece for hours.
  3. Pencils for The Stuff of Legend Vol.2 issue 3 pages 2-3 Charles Paul Wilson III If anyone has an interest in The Stuff of Legend or the incredibly talented Charles Paul Wilson III - there is a 50% off sale still happening at Comicarthouse.com Edit: I'm not affiliated with Comicarthouse - just wanted to point out the sale
  4. +1 on the Captain America #6. The Winter Soldier variant is the one to own, tho.
  5. Detective Comics 900, by the way Layman is doing a pretty good job on that book. I've been wondering how he's doing on that title. He has a peculiar sense of humor; I think he only tweets the bad reviews.
  6. +1 I loveloveLOVE the cinematic quality of his art. The action and framing of every scene are impeccable. Cinematic quality is a great description for Brian's style on TSG.
  7. Nice DPS! I like the perspective in the top panel. The middle panel has a good sense of the train's speed.
  8. Very Nice! When you get tired of it, I'll give it a good home.
  9. Extremely Super-rare; One of Rob Liefeld's art school studies... Edit: errrr... I think my joke was lost. Maybe I should have put up a sketch of pouches? A.F. Credit: Alex Mak http://www.comicartfans.com/gallerydetail.asp?gcat=401
  10. I just sold a Saga #2 3rd print for $6 and a Saga #1 4th print for $15 over the weekend. I found a #2 2nd print and 3 1st print in the dollar bin with spine ticks a few weeks ago and sold them for $10 combined as VF- last week. It was to a Zero feedback buyer, tho.
  11. I bought a 9.4 wp copy of that 4 years ago for 30 bucks on ebay then sold it for 50 a year ago. Guess I should have waited. I turned down a 9.0 for $30 two weeks ago; maybe I call and see if it's still avaliable
  12. +1 It's a complex world Hickman's created. He's definitely taken the 'alternative history' slant WAY beyond Manhattan Projects.
  13. I like this Revival thread a lot more than the other train wreck - can we start a similar one for Nowhere Men. That's my least favorite thread since CBLDF-gate.
  14. Will we see a SDCC variant this year?
  15. Wait - a Spawn comic is hot? A CLEAR sign that THE 90's HAVE RETURNED!
  16. Sounds like an addict to me...
  17. Nice looking pages - I really like the 1st one. A lot.
  18. Your auction ended while some potential bidders were watching the 'Walking Dead'
  19. I'm still waiting for a $50 #1 9.8 Blue
  20. I've noticed.... Super-Nice sig line
  21. I was over-simplifying by saying 'published piece'. I prefer the tonals just based on aesthetics.
  22. Ahh - got it. So effectively the pencils are originals and the tonal is the published copy (excluding the digital version)
  23. Felix (or other OA collectors) - would you consider the tonals as recreations? It doesn't sound like they are studies/prelims and aren't used in publishing. But conversely, they are done prior to publication. They do look great, tho, and congrats to the owners. I'd love to have one myself.
  24. That half-splash is very nice. Congrats!
