How about one little thread for vintage illustration art?
aokartman replied to Westy Steve's topic in Original Comic Art
I just rediscovered in the attic this cool piece of advertising art with a 1960s vibe to it. Image size is about 11 X 14", mixed media, signed Don Alleyn. I might try to find a frame that fits it. David -

I don't know about the future of comics, but I can attest to stamps since I just picked up a free collection from a neighborhood forum. I literally held out my arms and said "Load me up" as this guy handed over his father's, and his father's father's collection after despairing "I wish he had collected coins". David

Pair Of Spidey Books Variants 1977 Thanks for checking these out! Great Vulture cover art was re-used for the pence weekly in 1977. The Cockrum/Giacoia original cover art for Spec. Spidey #4 was re-used later that year (1977) for the Super Spidey #240 (September 14, 1977) black and white weekly (10th Captain Britain in title for that run) which carried 5 pages of the Vulture story plus a new art splash page. Also, a 7 page Captain Britain story (Pablo Marcos Studio), 10 page Fantastic Four story (1973), and 8 page Avengers story (1974). Cool Warlock pin-up on the back cover! Best wishes, David

Anybody else watch the recent activity in real time like I have been doing? It is a fun exercise, watching bidding play out before the floor auction starts! GI Joe just got raised, books, etc. I keep the tab at the top of my laptop while I'm doing other stuff, and check it every little while. It refreshes every minute automatically. David -
With a tinge of melancholy, I hereby promote the sale, without reserve, of a key piece from my collection. I have had the pleasure of caretaking the original cover art to World's Finest #302 for the last 25 years. Thanks for checking it out! Sold, Thanks! LINK TO HERITAGE WF #302 COVER ART AUCTION Truly a great artistic display piece by Hannigan and Janson. Floor auction Friday at noon Eastern Time, LOT #94040. Open now for online bidding. Questions and conversation welcome in the thread or send me a message. Sincerely, David S. Albright

My guess is any 1099 automatically generated by a payment service will eventually trigger an automatic adjustment to your income tax refund or amount due. It will be a large revenue stream for the government, and as simple to implement as a W-2 or similar reports. David
