  8. You are kind to say unorthodox, somehow lending that "frame" some aura of legitimacy. Thanks! It is one of my homemade clip frames, with the art in mylar sandwiched between glass and box cardboard. Showcasing a mostly mechanical original cover by Ian Gibson
  9. David here, this is as close as I have gotten to a "wall" of art now that the upright piano is history!

  15. I don't know about the future of comics, but I can attest to stamps since I just picked up a free collection from a neighborhood forum. I literally held out my arms and said "Load me up" as this guy handed over his father's, and his father's father's collection after despairing "I wish he had collected coins". David
  16. De verbijsterende Hulk #22 Netherlands Going along with the UK pence weekly variant. David
  17. Pair Of Spidey Books Variants 1977 Thanks for checking these out! Great Vulture cover art was re-used for the pence weekly in 1977. The Cockrum/Giacoia original cover art for Spec. Spidey #4 was re-used later that year (1977) for the Super Spidey #240 (September 14, 1977) black and white weekly (10th Captain Britain in title for that run) which carried 5 pages of the Vulture story plus a new art splash page. Also, a 7 page Captain Britain story (Pablo Marcos Studio), 10 page Fantastic Four story (1973), and 8 page Avengers story (1974). Cool Warlock pin-up on the back cover! Best wishes, David
  18. Love this auctioneer..."What's $1000 at this point?" Heh, heh.
  19. ha.com One neat feature is the "recent activity in this auction", which refreshes automatically every minute leading up to the live floor auction. David
  20. Anybody else watch the recent activity in real time like I have been doing? It is a fun exercise, watching bidding play out before the floor auction starts! GI Joe just got raised, books, etc. I keep the tab at the top of my laptop while I'm doing other stuff, and check it every little while. It refreshes every minute automatically. David
  21. With a tinge of melancholy, I hereby promote the sale, without reserve, of a key piece from my collection. I have had the pleasure of caretaking the original cover art to World's Finest #302 for the last 25 years. Thanks for checking it out! Sold, Thanks! 22. My guess is any 1099 automatically generated by a payment service will eventually trigger an automatic adjustment to your income tax refund or amount due. It will be a large revenue stream for the government, and as simple to implement as a W-2 or similar reports. David
  23. I just paired these two books up for Christmas. Frank Miller cover. David
  24. Nice Christmas present today! Prod art cover for Just Married #79, Jose Luis Garcia-Lopez? Mostly stats, still very cool and large, all original. Happy Holidays! David
