I believe Thanos looks angry because the kid is using the Cube for trivial purposes, simply creating a generic ice cream cone, whereas he wants to use the device to its fullest potential, making several boxes of Twinkies - the only snack which satisfies the between-meals appetite of a Mad Titan, and which also explains why he looks a bit on the chunky side.
You thought Thanos had his power nerfed. I bet the cube can't even make all 31 flavors.

Loved it, looks like Shane is starting a alpha-male takeover plot... If Rick doesn't do something to reassert his authority he will be made to look weak. He can't let Shane dictate what the group does..... could this be the beginning of the end for Shane?
Also did you guys notice in the small preview there was a gunbattle between two groups that seemed to be talking to each other? Rick was saying somthing about "not ending well" you dont talk to walkers? So what was that?
I thought that "not ending well" referred to the group's relationship with Herschel.

A few things that I recently picked up from Your Lucky Book. My wife and I still can't believe how many lines are in the elephant. Tom mentioned that Jeremy took forever putting those lines in.
Haven't seen a picture of this print posted yet so thought I'd share it to.
For anybody interested I happen to have 1 more copy of Your Lucky Book to give away free, just pay for the shipping. Post the if your interested.
That sketchbook is a great score (thumbs u , I believe it is from 2006-2007. Looks like the original cover art was added to ComicArtFans on 4/2006 and I think Jeremy mentioned it in this video that him and David Peterson did http://davidpetersen.blogspot.com/ I'll be checking out the live Q&A tomorrow night.

Yup.
Here you go.
As I posted in another thread, the label does not address that this is issue #1. It also does not label it as 1st appearance of CPG, but oh well. Loner on the census with a yellow label is fine with me. (thumbs u
Thanks for helping me understand.

Thanks, Pablo and Sean. Grade was sacrificed for a yellow label.
Fantastic book, I don't understand the yellow label. How do they authenticate the signatures?
Dan
Actually, only the Jeremy sig and sketch where authenticated.
Did you get the book sig series witnessed with Jeremy? If so then it makes sense. So the other sigs get treated as writing on the book?
Thanks.

Here is my key:
Dan

...and my Shadow Key rolled in too.
Today is a good day for L&K!
Got mine today as well - I don't collect the series, but I'm totally digging the keys:
What is the difference between the two Ghost keys?
Thanks.
Dan
AND the original 2009 SDCC Ghost key does NOT have hollowed out eyes where the Legacy Edition Ghost Key does.
Thanks. I picked up one at SDCC and I was wondering if the only difference was the cert. I got mine signed by Joe.
Dan
I think only a certain amount were signed While the rest were just numbered & not signed ... Iknow mine is not signed
I believe the keys could be purchased and Joe Hill was available at the Con for signing, but none of them were pre-signed. The person who purchased one for me had his and mine signed by Joe while he was at SDCC.
I stood in a long line with a bunch of nice people (maybe some of you). Joe was very patient and humble. One of the memorable parts of SDCC 09 for me.

Thanks, Brian. Found the spot in his blog. Here's an excerpt for everyone else.
"The only thing in my way of starting on vol. two of CPG is this little print I have to do for Olympian Publishing. By little I really mean, the largest piece of artwork I've attempted thus far in the scope of Cursed Pirate Girl. A while back Tom of Olympian Publishing had an idea to raise some money for printing the collection of vol. one, and that was to get it accepted on the site Kickstarter.com. We were accepted and it was a runaway success. We were able to raise a considerable sum at the end. Towards the middle of our run on Kickstarter, Tom announces that if we reach the goal of 500 backers he would have me create a special print. Well we reached 882 backers, and I'm about two months into creating this special print and I'm well over halfway. Here is the link directly to Cursed Pirate Girl on Kickstarter, successfully funded. I really like it so far I just hope everyone else feels it was worth the wait. As soon as I accomplish this task I'm going right into work on the next issue of CPG. I am reeeeeeeeaaaallly looking forward to it! The next issue is titled The Bright Star. Hey... isn't that the name on that map she finds in Holly's cabin, you know, the one the skeleton hand gives her...? Hmmmm... could be... Too bad it will be quite a while before any one finds out. "
We are getting in the way of the next CPG being printed. This is all our fault.

Dan, have you gotten your book yet?
FYI Everyone

Not yet. Thomas did finally email me back. For whatever reason they are having difficulty finding my order.

Sorry to bring this up to the board, but I have had no luck emailing Thomas. I still haven't received my trade yet. Any suggestions?
Thanks.

At first I didn't believe the whole time-machine thing, but I believe now.

I bought a Wizard of OZ Hardcover and I just got it. Wonderful condition.
Thanks.

I sold Matthew some horror books (surprise) a while back and everything went well. I would buy some of his fabulous art but they scare me.

Brian was very easy to work with. Excellent communication. A+++++ (oops channelling ebay too much). Seriously though, good buyer.

Posted this is SS Room, but not here. Still waiting for a Chuck Norris signing:
I just need to warn you that adding Chuck Norris's signature will probably bump up the grade to 9.8. There is a risk that CGC will give it a purple label if they detect that Chuck Norris's signature was only added to improve the grade.
I still think that it is worth the risk.
Dan
Here's my anticipatory post:
I am going to have a #4 done by Alex Saviuk this year. I will have to keep it in its own box so it doesn't make the other slabs mess their pants.
I didn't catch that originally. I hope the book doesn't catch fire if Chuck signs it.
Dan
Now I know why I missed it. Your quote was in a "Worst Copper" thread. Any book with Chuck in it is automatically disqualified from being in a "worst" thread.

Just won this on CLINK tonight. Really happy as now both kids have a 9.4 copy
Any chance you are open to adopting more children?

Very good experience with some quality buyers. All paid very fast and were very cordial:
qualitycomix, silverweb, Korvac Saga, DCMan, and smithdatura who is fairly new to the boards and already understands the marketplace workings.
Special kudos also to blazingbob for selling some of my books via consignment.
Thanks again.

have to agree however dont forget chew #4 second print..
I must admit a lack of understanding as to why people are interested in the 2nd -nth printings of books that do not seem (to me) to be any different. Is there a particular reason? I have bought 2nd prints (and even 3rds and 4ths) for different artwork or more story or just because I couldn't find a 1st.

TWD TV SHOW--Offical Discussion Thread
in Modern Age Comic Books
Posted
I don't think there is a reason to have a "current" spoiler for the TV show. If you haven't watched the episode, just don't be clicking on this thread if you don't want to get stuff revealed. Definitely the "future" spoilers though.
