I can't get over the fact that she seriously looks horrendous with that wig

I've watched the show long enough that I cannot stay quiet any longer. Laurel as Black Canary looks like a transvestite. That blond wig they have her wearing is ungodly hideous. I don't know what the costume people were thinking or how they haven't noticed it yet. Laurel without the wig doesn't look half bad, bud with that stupid wig, ugh. I can't make an apt comparison other than saying that the current Canary looks like a cracked out cross dresser.

Anyone else notice? Again, just Laurel as Black Canary with that awful wig.

I'd be game if I can get the Batman at cover price or a nice variant at a decent price, but jeez, this death stuff is getting old.....then again, they do need to do something drastic at times to shake things up.

Also I personally think, that the death of Peter Parker was done well, I really enjoyed Superior Spider-man. Maybe this will lead to Buckwild Batman :shrug:

Currently reading "In the Garden of Beasts" by Erik Larson. This guy is a very talented writer, also wrote "Devil in the White City" "Thunderstuck" and his latest book is "Dead Wake." Check out his books if you haven't, you won't be dissapointed!

There was a guy selling it for $200 at AZ Fan Fest. And for the record I absolutely hate, loathe and abhor the sellers where they swear up and down that their issue is a 9.8 but yours are a 9.2 if your lucky.

Next time they tell me their raw is a 9.8, I'm tempted to rip it. Jerks

Well, this is getting exciting. My wife got the Poison Ivy Bombshell around Thanksgiving, she got me a Bowen Ms. Marvel for X-mas. Then we were at a LCS on New Years, so 25% off led to my wife acquiring the Zatanna Bombshell and now we placed a down payment on the Harley Quinn Bombshell!!!

Just waiting on DC to make the Catwoman Bombshell statue...

Still working on the overall look for my office. I have way more stuff than room at the moment. But this will help.

Can anyone reco a good cheap scanner? I need something for my graded books and my HP envy obviously isnt going to cut it for the slabbed books.

I love this show but if there's one thing that I cannot stand, it's how Thea's character is written. Willa Holland is a fine lady and her hair cut works but the writers did her a great injustice in my opinion. Thea has the worst motives, no motives or is just plain stupid beyond belief.

She throws a tantrum that Ollie and her mother "lied" to her. She was still a "good" person meaning she had a clear moral compass, so then she absconds with Malcolm who she knows is a liar and a pretty bad dude. WTF? Thea is written as a spoiled brat and it's sad because the writers really screwed up that character for me.

I'm curious about the Will Smith choice. Heard he turned down Django unchained because Django didnt get enough attention....while Deadshot is cool he wont get the lions share of screen time......thought maybe they explore the Deadshot/Harley Quinn romance from the comics?

Yes, because the FF are "lo-fi" and "ultra real" - What made the Fantastic Four work, to me as a casual fan of the FF, was/is in enjoying the unreal/fantastic elements...I'm just waiting for one of them to say it is "dark and gritty"...

Ok, can someone help me out? Several posters and I guess even scenes show that when Flash runs, he does a quick zig-zap pattern which gives us his trademark "lightning bolt" logo. Why? I understand the logo and all, but thinking logically, I can't understand what would compel the Flash to run like that. Does anyone have a reasonable answer or am I simply overanalyzing and there really is no reason, other than to display the logo?

Anyone know where one could acquire a Cable w/ Baby Hope Statue? I believe Sideshow Collectibles has or had one, but for the life of me I cannot find one anywhere. The closest I came is small action figure. I will be posting in the WTB forum as well, but I figure this thread being comprised of avid statue collectors, I might be able to get pointed in the right direction. Thanks everyone.

RIP Kraven, while he may have been the ultimate Hunter, he also had a gentle side few knew about and was an avid Cat lover as well....perhaps it was the predatory nature of cats which drew Kraven to felines....
