It depends on what you’ve been collecting. If you have top tier artists drawing characters they are known for you could get decent money but if your collection is made up of some offbeat theme or character then not so much.

I haven't been keeping up with the character for quite a while but some quick googling seems to indicate the latest storyline involved supernatural powers and Dr. Strange? seems whether he lived or died the direction they've taken the character is so removed from what he was that it doesn't matter. IMO the best Punisher stories were always the ones removed from the rest of the Marvel superhero universe (and yes, I know he started as a Spider-Man villain), like the Zeck mini-series and Romita Jr. War Zone issues. I doubt the latest story/death will affect the value of art, I know it won't affect my interest in 80's/90's pieces at all.

With no skin in the game, these look like they were done by an amateur to me. The spiderman, in particular, looks very rushed. Is the uneven color of the bricks intentional?

That really surprised me. And knowing there were more Terry strips to follow, I thought... "OK, here we go !!!". The amazing thing was there was another Terry from less than a month later in 1935 that went for "only" $ 528. That is a very wide range. And several others in the later 1930's went for less than $1,000.
I've noticed the stream of Terry strips and the wide range of prices. is it known where they are coming from, is it the collection of some long time Terry collector being liquidated?
