    I've lurked in the Gold forum for sometime and love this splash page thread. I figure it is time I posted some pics. Most of these scans came from a blog I wrote when I was an owner of TalesOfWonder.com. The blog ended, but I'm still publishing some golden age material through CantonStreetPress.com. Great Doll Man #19 splash by Bill Ward I Love this B&W splash by LB Cole from the interior front cover of Contact Comics #4. It is heartfelt without any trace of cynicism. Opening splash from the same book. Better than the Kurtzman Black Venus, in my opinion.
