  1. How about $25 shipped. Lots of great reading here for $25...
  2. There was a proposal (in the infrastructure bill maybe?) that would have required banks to report all deposits and withdrawals of $600 or more. It is a crazy proposal that has not been passed. Couple this with the $600 1099s and it seems like a concerted effort to track your money in every way possible.
  3. Update #22 Jul/Aug 1992 #101 $50.00 #102 $60.00 Fear #20 $5.00 Update #23 Sep/Oct 1992 #101 $75.00 #102 $65.00 Fear #20 $7.50 Update #24 Nov/Dec 1992 #101 $90.00 #102 $75.00 Fear #20 $15.00 Update #25 Jan/Feb 1993 #101 $100.00 #102 $80.00 Fear #20 $18.00 Morbius' origin was worth more than his first appearance up until fall 1992. I remember Fear #20 getting hot. It was a fun time in the hobby. These old Bulletins and Updates are great to read again. Rotated scans again...
  4. Magazine lot $35 $25 shipped to CONUS. Paypal. 7 Day Returns. No bad list members. Savage Sword of Conan 5, 6, Annual 1 Spirit 9 Unknown Worlds 2 Amazing World of DC 5 Magazines are all G to VG.
  5. This thread made me check my Heritage account. I won some books in the Dec 5/6 weekly auction. Paid on 12/7. They have still not shipped. With the holidays, I didn't realize they were so far behind. I've already won a few items in this week's auction. Maybe I should pay them in six weeks?
  6. I'll pull out some more of the updates and bulletins. I was in high school at the time and doing maybe a dozen shows a year as a dealer. I remember the rise of the 101 coincided with maybe a new series? Fear #20 had become a hot book at the same time. By early to mid 1990s I had stopped doing shows.
  7. 129 was a sub-$100 book until late 1980s. It popped big one year. His mini series is what juiced his popularity. The pics are from Overstreet's Price Bulletin Nos. 1-3. #1 from Summer 1986 - no price break out for #129. #2 from Winter 1986 - #129 is $12 and no breakout for 134 or 135. #3 from Summer 1987 - #129 is $20 (and added "very" to first appearance ) and 134, 135, 161, 162, 201, 202 and 285 broken out. #238 is $3.50. Bulletin #1 (not sure why they are rotated) Bulletin #2 Bulletin #3
  8. Ha! Make back your "investment" with just two orders...
  9. I've had this for a little while. Neat little item to go with your bronze collection. Crown Dater No. 1 1/2 that was used to stamp cover dates on comic books. Dates run 1971-1978 and include month, day, year and AM/PM. Includes original box. Has been used, but not much, You can see where some years have ink, but others do not. $20 Shipped CONUS. 7 day return. No members on bad lists. Paypal accepted.
  10. I just posted an issue with him on Sunday (two posts above yours here). Good luck.
  11. Block: arkits_0 Made an offer on a $2000+ book. I accepted. No payment and no response to messages.
  12. Mysterious Adventures #13 CGC 3.0 $1400 Very little sales data on this one. Two CGC copies have sold in 2021. An 8.0 sold in November for $18,000 and a 3.5 sold (also November) for $1,680. Great cover and one I don't mind keeping.
  13. Avengers #1 CGC 3.0 $3600 GPA 12 month is $3,596 (18 sales), 90 day is $3,757 (3 sales), last sale is $4,000 (12/10/21). This is an under copy and I've thought about not selling it. Certified Check/MO, wire transfer only on this one. If Paypal is a must, we can talk about that as a payment method. Will consider time payments as well.
  14. Amazing Spider-man #17 CGC 4.5 $440 GPA last/90 day (5 sales) is $464/$468. Still no sales tax...
  15. Will be adding a few books to this thread. Shipping is a flat $15 in the US. I will ship to Canada at cost. Paypal, check/MO for payment 7-day return on raws. No return on slabs No members of bad lists Fantastic Four #12 CGC 1.8 $800 Last 1.8 sold for $850 on 11/24 with lesser page quality and tanning. I think the eye appeal here is better. No sales tax either...
  16. My preference is G/S/B/C in one forum and Modern in a forum by itself. Otherwise, I'd leave the format as is.
  17. I just posted something similar in comics general. To me, the copper buyer has much more in common with G/S/B than modern. That may be my bias as I have little interest in anything post 1990/1991ish (my "golden age" of collecting). I do not support a split for Gold into its own forum. I would support moving modern into its own forum. Otherwise, I would stand pat on the existing format.
  18. I am selfish and would prefer Gold/Silver/Bronze/Copper to be in one forum and modern be in a forum by itself. I think a copper buyer has more in common with bronze or silver than with modern. I have almost zero interest in anything beyond 1990/1991. I would llikely buy more copper on the boards, but wading through the copper/modern forum doesn't work for me. My sales threads in G/S/B sell well, but Copper/Modern is mostly crickets. Don't separate Gold from G/S/B and don't collapse all forums into one. Leave it as is.
  19. I love those early TPBs. Anything up through the early 1990s. Mid-80s through 1992/1993ish and Marvel is the sweet spot. Any more TPBs coming?
  20. What the heck...I'll add another Spidey. Amazing Spider-man #20 $275 Would call this a ~4.0, but last page missing. Believe it was a pinup. It does not affect the story. First Scorpion.
  21. Just one book right now, but may add some more if this sells. Shipping included in the US. Int'l inquire. Paypal, check is Paypal. No one on lists. Amazing Spider-man #45 $195 This is a bright, white page copy with lots of gloss. It almost looks as if it came of the stands. There is a faint crease in the middle of the book. Most of it does not break color. I grade the books at 7.5 as it sits, but think it could be improved. If you look just below Spidey's right knee, you can see where there is some minor color break. The books presents very well.
