I trade up. I started with a $500 dollar comic collection. By trading (and a fair amount of selling and buying) I turned that into $25k. It's not really that hard, you just have to know the market. I owe it all to DD's
I'll just leave this here

Did a swap with Jeremy on a high grade NM 98 SS. Very easy transaction and great communication through out the whole process. His package arrived very secure and I would deal with him again with no hesitation. Great guy!!!!

Got this from Manley himself, not a Buckethead but still a Mike Manley piece, so there might be a chance of getting a Darkhawk from him someday

We should start a Josh Medors appreciation thread. It would be nice to see his work in one page. Where would the appropriate thread be located? Here? Signature room? Or modern?

love the gold signature

I like it... The power stone in the movies, and since they keep making up more stones in the comics, since there is a mind stone how about him having a body stone?

Just snagged another number 1 9.8 on ebay. Still no newsprint or 9.9s though. This character has some major upside potential. All that needs to happen is for some movie maker to get all nostalgic about growing up in the 90s and BAM! Darkhawk in the movies. I'm betting if Falcon is super popular in the Captain America movie it's only a matter of time before DH gets some cinematic love.
I have also been looking for a 9.8 newsstand version for a while, got some raw's but not even close to what was promised on ebay, but I believe I do have one direct version that I would be shocked if it didn't come back higher then 9.8
A Darkhawk movie would be cool, but I would be the first to admit he has a lame origin, always hated it, just make him a cyborg or something and tie it in to the Guardians movie

Here's my Darkhawk shrine:
Danny Fingeroth signed both the #50 and what was originally and should still be a 9.8 #1
Harvey Toliboa signed the War of Kings #1.
I'm saving my two best raw #1 copies (and my beat up original copy) for Mike Manley to sign someday
And my Darkhawk sketches I'll post all together later when I get my newest piece: Galactus/ Darkhawk done by Toliboa and Jimbo Salgado

Looks like the same seller has another 9.8. Wonder if he's a boardi?

Great stuff 1dingo!
Now you need a Mike Manley one.
I wish. Think I have a better chance of getting Bigfoot to do one for me
-
are any of the Darkhawk series issues worth any $$? Just the Venom ones?
The last books in the series are worth a little. #50 seems hard to find in good condition.

Appears I have some competition on the 9.8 1 for sale right now. Anyone here? I could stop bidding if I'm up against a boardie?
I need another #1 but now that I see the 30ish 9.8s coming in the future maybe we can get a bundle discount

Thank you Mr. Toast! Everything came in just as discribed. Great person to do business with

I've never seen that Spider-Man 2099 #1 before. Is that a 2nd printing? All I've seen is the regular red cover.
It's an error without the foil on it.
The same error as the black Venom #1.
Nope it's a second printing. Came in 2001 KB Toy Biz spiderman 2099 action figure. Still great find.
