Question for the OA collectors:
What size are the WD pages? 14x11?
-
I'd say at most they would encapsulate it but with a NG label.
Otherwise we'll need to have some more made so that we can each get one for the registry...
-
Sketch cover is nice...

yep...dwindling supply and the price goes up...my supplies are pretty low, making me a bit nervous.
At this point I wouldn't go much below $50 for regular #1..
Wait. For a regular #1? $50? My LCS still has them for cover. I bought 1 copy today to read, but I may go back for the rest.
Might be a reprint? All four prints so far of #1 are identical... If not, go back and get them all.

Your comment read as an insult though it may not have been your intention. I look at a like this. A single $5 profit is no big deal but do it a 100 times a month, you have $500. Do that 12 times a year, $6000. Do that another 4 years and you have enough to pay cash for a nice car.
What he said. My comic collection is paid for by $5 profits. Plus it's a bit of fun...

Wow - someone really wanted that!

Well very glad I grabbed 3x the Batman steampunk variant then....
I grabbed 5 and I'm happy I did. When the Steampunk buzz dies down, this is still the debut of a new major character in the Batman universe.

I have a few of the 2nd and 3rd prints of #1.
It was more of an OCD thing than anything.

I'll happily take those 9.9s off your hands in you want to go all yellows. They would look great with my 9.9 #13
I'm quite helpful like that...

My bet is Alana. They were looking to get onto the 'soaps'. That's probably her alter-ego.
+1
Agreed

Can he still do Manhattan Projects? If so, I'm in...

I started on issue #1 around mid December and finished #108 yesterday. #109 can't come quick enough.
Hoping Angstrom is still alive. For me he is that arch nemesis that should battle Mark till the end of the series.
-
There probably won't be any 9.9s of #18
-
Just grabbed another #1 reg cover for cover price. It was put away with the back issue books already.

Around this same time last year it was Nowhere Men, Revival, and Peter Panzerfaust getting crazy money for raws
Nods.. I sold multiple copies of NWM #1 raw for $40 each.
Also remember selling 9.8 slabs of PP #3 for $149 each.
Two books I'm glad i added to my collection after the wave. I picked up a 9.6 PP#1 for $180 and a raw NWM #1 for $12 recently.

Md Regular cover is doing better than eow regular...so that's something I guess.
Much smaller print run for MD helps (17,371 v 49,518)...
I now have a decent amount of both MD and EOW - Can't decide whether I should hold onto the MD's or just sell them now.

It seems like Midtown Comics have more 1st prints in their store.
I got 10 copies of #1A off DCBS last week for $1.49 each.
Nine of them arrived NM.
nice score.. can get $10 each for them now
True. I probably should have pulled the trigger on more, but honestly didn't think they'd be able to fill my order of 10. Fully expected an email saying that they were out of stock.

Put down everything else and just read YTLM!
I second that notion. Is Morning Glories worth it?
YES!!
Reads well in trades.

Right. With that context I can now see that she was asleep in her car and dreaming that. It shocked her and woke her up.
I still love this book. Pace and subplots so far are keeping me very intrigued.

I have a question about #16
Were the pages on comixology out of order or am I just confused?
On the fourth last page, May appears to be burning in a fire. Then on the next page Em is sitting in her car out of breath and watching May walk around and talk on her phone?

at that 9.8 Blue label for $350 all day long.

It's a week out from Christmas. I assume that a lot of auctions are finishing low.

I bought 5 copies of 1A from DCBS a couple of months ago for $1.79.
Not sure why I bought them, or why they were available, but glad I did.
