I prefer to snipe, only downside is if you put you maximum bid in with 2 seconds to go and don't get it.

Hurts to see a book sell for $1 over your limit.

Just picked up my Deluxe HC of issues 1-11.

Also has all the Phantom and variant covers, so other pin-ups and also the original -script and sketches for the first issue.

I checked the census, there is only ONE 9.9 for issue 14. Real question is, will we see anymore 10.0's?

A boardie sold that 9.9 on eBay yesterday. Not sure what it ended up going for.

Stoked! Just caught Saga 1,2, and 3 9.8's signed by fiona on the bay! One step closer to completing the the set. I figured these are the difficult issues to find (other than #5) and rest should be easier to get my paws on.

 

 

Great pick ups meta . #6 and #7 don't pop up as often as issues 1-3 on eBay though.

#5 & #6 were the last two I found to complete my set a few months back. #2 is probably the easiest, there seem to be an endless supply of them on eBay.

A little steep for a raw, but these have been hot. One just sold on these boards for $350 for a 9.6 yellow signed by Dragotta. I'd definitely try to make an offer.

I bought that one. I'm pretty happy with the price given it's double signed and has the sketch/remark of Death on it.

Big colour difference on some of my #6

Rare to see someone sell a lot of 2 or more on a book like this. Nice pick up. All from the one sale?

The book quality is great, it has a perfect bound spine rather than stapled, so looks like a thin TPB.

Anybody pick up the Issue #1 Colour version today?

Agreed - a sketched on #1 is high on my CGC want list.

I've seen a couple where Nick has done 3-4 characters on the cover. They look amazing.

I'm not as sad about my 10 copies of Ten Grand and 10 copies of Chin Music now.

Not a good sale at all. Great for whoever picked them up though.

Dre can confirm, but pretty sure he offers subscribers upgrades first, on a rotation basis. I'm thinking the chances of my name being first in line on the Saga subscription list are very slim, but a kid can dream, can't he?

Awesome Dre!

Any other Saga #1 hoarders/collectors out there come across copies that don't have the binary tear? I thought this was a production problem across the whole run (even on my CGC 9.8), but I picked up three first prints today that don't have it at all.

Glad to see some chatter in the Revival thread. Too good a book to not talk about...
