this thread started off with a boatload of people piling in talking about how many copies of this they had pre-ordered. Followed by many other people then trashing the book saying it would flop in secondary value a la bedlam. Followed by others saying quality is what matters, not print run, a la Saga. viperdays was one of the people who bought 100 copies, and it led to a lot of side arguments, and an underlining current of discussion on bubbles, methods of ordering comics etc. Really, the recent sub-subjects are par for the course in this thread . I just got my 15 copies in from dcb. Jesus christ these books are sharp. Most of them are 9.8 candidates. Can't say the same for my midtown order

Yes 2nd and 3rd prints are in demand. Still need 9.8 second print of 6 and. 9.8 4th print of #1 that is eluding me. Each raw I buy on eBay looks good. Once I get them I am disappointed.

I just dropped $915 on a blue label. I'd be mad if it dropped to $300 during the hiatus. But that just means I would hoard moar.

it's all about the print run with these books - Saga 37,000, PP 4,500 True. But 10 years from now, I feel saga will be regarded as a modern classic ala sandman, y the last man and preacher. I love PP and I have a full run going on as well btw.

I wanted to see what the book was like inside which is why I ordered the raw. Your 9.8 slab should be in my hands soon. My grades from my recent saga sub finally just came in. I hate that the #3 is a 9.6. I was more confident in that one being a 9.8 than the two #4s i submitted. Ugh.
