Thank you! I was really happy with it for a long time and Kenny's work on the book was a big reason why. The book was kind of a mess when I got it. CT in places, scraped off CT in others.
I spent allot of time on the phone with Kenny talking through options and in the end I decided I wanted a copy of FF1 I would really enjoy looking at. So Kenny made it beautiful while doing the least amount of restoration necessary.
I upgraded to a blue label, but still hung into this book for awhile. But there are other books to chase and it's off to a new home 😁
Kenny is the man. I would’ve done the same thing! Congrats on the upgrade and sale!

That is a pretty FF1. You just made someone smile widely! I wish mine had colors like that.

I wonder if buy the book will lead to a low price on this one? That is the fugliest 9.6 graded comic or magazine I have seen in a while.
I agree 100%. Sometimes you get those white marks on mags, but that spine rub/wear and the bottom left corner- C’mon!

The only thing I've actively collected in the past dozen years is these Conan Weird Tales pulps.
I still need 6 or 7 (including this one). GLWTS!
I give you a lot of credit. It is a beastly, long run comprised of tough issues! Thank you!

Here he is- Conan, the Cimmerian. He made his debut in this pretty little Weird Tales issue from December 1932, a mere 91 years old. This was a recent pick up from HA, but I have the opportunity to pick up some local GA books, and tough choices must be made. I will get another!

Andddd, here we go…Weird Tales, December 1932. The 1st appearance of Conan in Robert E. Howard’s classic story “The Phoenix on the Sword.” Truly incredible! Cover by J. Allen St. John.
HA graded this as Qualified FN-, and I agree. It’s a beautiful representation of this book. The colors are great, and anyone would be proud to own this piece of history. It has a small pinhole through the cover, a spine split on the lower left corner, and a coupon neatly cut from the last page. I’ve taken various pictures, and if you need more please let me know.
$6400$6200 ShippedThis is basically what I paid after tax, shipping, and the lovely CC fee.
