  1. It's not about how much the shipping costs. It was $4.00 shipped in a box with bubble wrap. He even told me after it was halfway to my apartment that he charged that because of the cost of bubble wrap and box he used. But then it showed up with free Priority Mail cardboard he cut to tape the comic to and a reused Midtown Comics envelope. And I don't understand the risk of paying $2.92 for Media Mail when the buyer is at risk for paying extra if inspected because the seller used Priority Mail cardboard when First Class is $2.93 for the same weight and can't be inspected.
  2. Taco, has Venom resolved the situation with you? There was discussion he was trying to make things right with you and 1p36DSA. I guess you were the last one to nominate him? HERE is your nomination. I replied back to him and whoever else contacted me about it last week. We cleared everything up because he was honest enough to contact me under his new name instead of just dodging it. Hopefully he doesn't have to get out of comics immediately again without contacting people he's in deals with.
  3. (thumbs u Thank you. I was just looking for where to talk about it.
  4. No postage since it was paid online. 10 oz from 77336 to 19103. I calculate it out to be $2.92. And 10 oz First Class is $2.93... Are you complaining about $1? No. I am complaining about how the package was already shipped and he told me it was sent bubble wrapped and boxed. When it was sent Media Mail with Priority Mail cardboard in an envelope. That could have been inspected and charged me another $15.30.

  6. I need a little advice with how to deal with a seller. I paid $4.00 shipping for one comic book that he told me was shipped boxed. So I figured it was Priority Mail. He shipped it and I checked the tracking number and noticed it was Media Mail. I asked why I paid so much for Media Mail. This was the response: So he already shipped it and he said it was packed in a box with bubble wrap. Well I received it today. No box. No bubble wrap. It was thin Priority Mail cardboard in a Midtown Comics envelope shipped Media Mail. Should I warn others about this seller? Should I be entitled to a refund on shipping?
  7. Fat Jack's is terrible though. I live right around the corner and hate going there.
  8. The other day someone posted a full set for sale and then posted how they absolutely know this was going to be made into a TV show. Only to remove the listing, but relist it again today.
  9. It's weird to see this thread on page two when someone just posted a full set for sale... again.
  10. Yes it is. I haven't seen resurrection, but I think it's funny (and sad) they ripped this from the comic. I don't think NBC ripped it from the comic book. NBC ripped it from a French TV show, which ripped it from a movie, which probably ripped it from a book. So really Revival is just a rip.
  11. Hah how many do you have left? I think I still have 14 copies of #1 and 1 set of #1-7.
  12. Why has Marvel Divas #1 not heated up at all in the JSC craze? If Ultimate Spider-man #152 was $$$ a few weeks ago I don't see how this cover is not. (I don't own any copies. I'm just asking.)
  13. I just sold The Wake #1-6 for $45. It would be nice if I can list Trillium after it finishes and get a price like that too.
  14. Yes. Last year. Almost none of the Alpha Flight V2 #17's on ebay are selling. Its depressing. I thought this would be more than a $14.99 book by now. I believe it's because Alpha Flight #17 is not a key as it was previously thought of. I remember last year, a lot of people thought it was the first appearance of BH6, but it came out in December '98. The real first appearance was Sunfire and Big Hero 6 #1 in September '98. Alpha Flight #17 was supposed to be the first appearance, but there was a delay in the title. Sunfire and Big Hero 6 #1 was supposed to take place after in the timeline. So who knows how the market will decide.
  15. Aren't they just starting to release more info on development? GotG was hot when it was first announced, cooled down a lot (full sets of the 2008 series were going $100-150), and then heated back up when the trailer was released. I would expect the same thing for another movie.
  16. I even checked your website yesterday morning before leaving for a local comic con. How did I miss that!? Oh well. Now I know. I have another in two weeks. Edit: Thank you.
  17. It was a $1 comic. Are there that many that will be 9.8?
  18. Not that aggressive. I had mine listed for $80 OBO and it sold in minute for $75. And this was on like Tuesday or Wednesday.
  19. http://www.comicbookresources.com/?page=preview&id=20634 Preview of #10.
  20. grades? 9.8's Sorry about that. I think you posted this in the wrong thread. This is modern comics.
  21. http://www.ebay.com/itm/141210687821?ssPageName=STRK:MESOX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1561.l2649 I just let one set go for $75 shipped. This really is crazy. Midtown Comics had the Ottley variant in stock for weeks. Edit: My last purchase of the Ottley variant from MC was 12/9 (it was released 11/13). It probably sold out within a week of that because I was buying copies every few days.
