TWD #53 are crawling back up again. The lowest NM/NM+ is at $90 shipped. The lowest CGC 9.8 is $185 shipped. They were recently selling for around $70 shipped, but early November I bought several copies for $50-55 shipped. One month left to grab them for cheap.

What store? The only one I didn't go to was the one on South St. I went to the other three on Tuesday. Why should he tell you when he got there first? Me thinks Sour grapes? Hah nah. There are only 4 stores in Philly. And no one really speculates in center city. I do speculate in Center City, I don't live downtown anymore but I'm down there a few times a week (Fat Jack's has had nothing lately). I know of a couple shops in Philly and outside of the city that don't advertise, and you won't find 'em on a google search. I call it Lonzilla's Secret Stash Fat Jack's has nothing because I moved in that big glass skyscraper around the corner. That's the first store I go to now as soon as I see anything because it's a 30 second walk hah. I don't have a car anymore, but Effin Comics has some gold to find. I picked up a few MoS #18 5th print for $3 each there this summer, but had to go because my phone was almost out of batteries and didn't know how to get back to Manayunk.

I grew up in the Lehigh Valley too. I am finishing at Jefferson in the spring and going to UPenn in the fall, so I live right in the middle. The hotel was the one probably across from the convention hall where they have Wizard World. But that's like 10-12 block walk to either Fat Jack's one way or Brave New Worlds the other.

Only four? I haven't lived back east in a while, but is Fat Jack's still there? I always enjoyed going to Showcase Comics in Bryn Mawr. They seemed to know what they were doing. In Philadelphia. Fat Jack's in Rittenhouse, BNW in Old City, Atomic City on South St., and Locust Moon in University City. Showcase Comics in Bryn Mawr is my favorite store. When I lived in Manayunk that was the store I went to. I haven't been back there in the 4 months since I moved to center city. I wasn't a fan of the other they have in the one mall. I also really like Comic Universe by the airport.

No truer words said. I am picking up many 9.8 during the winter lull. December is the worst month to sell. I've heard about this lull for 6+ months now. Con lull, back to school lull, winter lull. It is definitely not a seller's market imo. I'm buying lots of stuff cheaper than I have been able to all year. Are you seeing something I'm not or are you thinking the market won't recover ? I mean it only takes one title for everyone to jump back on this thread and say the market is back. Preacher #1 now is what TSG #1 was without being able to find them in the LCS, a finished pilot, an ongoing series, and a mini series starting up. I think the market is for sellers from March-June. End of year bonuses have paid any back bills and tax refunds are coming in.
