#1 isn't too bad. $30ish on eBay. I was at a comic con (really one room with like 8 sellers) today and the one seller wanted $45 for his. #5 I was selling this week for $5, but I just sold my last one.

I emailed and asked if they could mail an issue from the long box. They were like yeah sure we always do. I ask for Invincible 19. All of the sudden no response. Emailed again. No response. Called and they said they would check the email. No response. Called again and they said no. Edit: They had it, but I didn't buy it at the time because it had a bent corner. And today it was gone.

I was selling mine for $28 on Wednesday night. I ran out today, but picked up about 20 copies each of Revival phantom #2 and 7.

amen brother with that said, i have burned myself a bunch of times in the last year selling too early trying to grab whatever profit I could once a book had bumped up a bit, like Saga 1s, 2 for $10....uhg. Even non-CGC Saga 1s are only $80ish. You make out better in the long run for almost everything. Like last week when everyone was selling PP 9 for $30 and now it's $15. Wednesday night I sold Sons of the Gun for $25-30 and now it's $10. You make up for the early sells.

Will the $1 for Mind MGMT 1 have the extras?

Which makes me think people who are investing in moderns for long term value have it completely wrong. The chances of another TWD are almost 0. Flip what is hot at the moment. Stock what is your favorite.

I looked it up... TWD #78 came out in October 2010, and the show aired that same month. I don't know what issue was out when AMC picked up the series, but would guess just after the first 48. Thank you Ryan. I found the #78 after I asked the question. And the pilot was ordered January 2010. So they are years into the series. All these new moderns are great, but it seems like shows don't really start until far into the series. Which is great for the readers. But now I'm going to spend hours in the store flipping through everything that I usually look past.

What's your hypothesis here? My hypothesis was I got tired of typing. But I was just wondering about TWD info before really making anything.

I was thinking about this earlier today and maybe someone can help me. What issue was The Walking Dead on when it got picked up by AMC? And what issue was it on when the show actually aired? I have only been reading comics casually since the end of last summer and I have only started speculating since the beginning of this month. There is a lot of hype for issues that are less than a year old (Mind MGMT, Revival, Peter Panzerfaust, Thief of Thieves), but they still seem so new. And then you see The Sixth Gun that gets picked up in the late #20s.

I only finished #2 because I've read them a few times each. My LCS has been pushing it since the beginning and they still are. They get more in than PP. I do have that Mind MGMT print ready to be put on my wall.

I need to spend $512 on new games to get it. Or half that on used games.

I might go buy a thousand dollars worth the games, cash out on the comic and then return all the games.

As far as eBay it isn't heating up yet. It is climbing which I think is better. You saw PP 9 and NWM 9 sales drop the day after release. Like 2 weeks ago previews issues like Morning Glories 14, 3 Story, whatever else were big on eBay and now they're dying off. But apparently Previews January 2012 sells for like $30 on the boards. And someone was selling TWD Previews on eBay and it went for $100ish (?) maybe.

I think it is going to blow up because people want something to blow up. It won't last past the first issue. It will cool off I think. There are so many Image #1 coming out the next two months.
