So how much does it cost to get a book CGC graded? I know the pricing of modern and modern fast track, but after the shipping and everything? I am thinking about getting a 9.8 with May delivery for $40, but I don't know if that is a good deal.

I just sold my PP #9 with close up pictures of the spine tick. 4 copies for $30 a piece. Sold within 20 minutes.

My LCS gets more issues of Mind MGMT than PP. I am glad good art and story get more hype in the store.

 

Same here. PP is done at my LCS

The main store I go to dropped it at 5 except for a few pulls and picked it back up because of phone calls the last few weeks. He said they would get copies in and it would just sit there for months without one sale.

I read it. Annihilation Conquest #6 is the first time all of the new GOTG are together. It is by the same artist and writer who did GOTG vol 2. There is a little passage at the end by the writer saying that this was the first time they were all together in one book and to look for the next volume coming shortly.

I would just check the long boxes in your LCS. I have checked two stores and found one NM copy for $4. And if it blows up, then it blows up.

No. Not seriously. Look at the EoW forum and you'll understand. Half the talk is "500 copies" "1000 copies".

My tax return is going to be a few thousand. Nice little surprise for first year as a white collar worker. 1000 copies of Pretty Deadly and whatever E.S. announced last year at SDCC that hasn't come out yet.

Last day to place orders through Diamond. I am hyped for #4. I might read Think Tank today to get my science fix.

I just picked up The Sixth Gun 1-6 with FCBD for $80. It only took messaging three different people to find one that wanted the money quicker than the auction ending. So now I can offload my 3 and 6 for $10-15 each to make some money back.

1-6 and FCBD. There is debate on what is better. But go to you LCS because full runs are most likely available. I picked up 3, 6-current issue yesterday for cover price or less.

I almost have the full run completed for cover or less on each. I'm still looking for 1, 2, 4, and 5 plus the FCBD one. I figure that might be another $100. And I'll double or triple my money, but I rather hold to see where it goes.

 

same here, i want to hold onto these for the following reasons: it's an awesome read. mine are NM are finding them in that condition is ridiculously hard and I believe these have a bigger ceiling.

All of mine are NM except one issue has a little corner bend. Are you trying to get the FCBD one too?

I asked the LCS if they had a Preview January 2012 I could buy and he said he would check. He went and found one, paged through it and wouldn't sell it to me because they use it for "reference." He didn't even know they had it still until I asked.
