East of West Preview! (for free because everyone was hyping the other preview from last night)

Sorry Philadelphia. Which ones should I sell now and which ones should I hold onto?

  3. It's a solid book with a small print run. I actually just read the first three today. Love it. Oh, and i posted this in the Mind Mgmt thread, but here's something you guys should be on the lookout for. This print run has GOT to be tiny and it's the 1st app. of Mind Mgmt. When Ebay peeps catch on this one could be huge. https://www.mycomicshop.com/search?TID=22748947 (MCS listing, but they don't have any)

Oh, and i went on comichron but couldn't find the print run. The only print run i could find was for the HC of the 3 stories of the Giant man. (which is not this issue and does not have the mind mgmt story) Maybe someone with more patience can find it? Maybe it's not on there. I looked for a while and got frustrated.

As soon as i saw this i hit midtown to see if they were offering any online. They were. I checked back 3 minutes later and they were out of stock lol

Sorry! One of them was me. I checked after I finished my order and it said out of stock.

  4. Thanks! I did some digging here :) The HC came out in September 2009, so i assumed that Mind mgmt wouldn't have been in his head at that point.. I haven't looked at it, but the one-shot says on the cover the Mind MGMT thing so i assumed it was exclusive content. I would be very surprised if it's in the HC since it was over 3 years ago.

And if you look at the cover of the comic it says it includes a preview of Mind MGMT. I think it has to be the first appearance. I ordered it for $2.80.

  5. I love MP projects too. It's still on my pull list, but I sold my run (Christmas Presents) and plan to just buy the trade at some point (I did keep 2 #1 first prints).

    Behind in my reading:

Finishing Y The Last Man Series (book 3 of 5)

Working on Sandman (book 2 of 10)

Up-to-date with my regular pulls: Saga, TWD, Revival, Bedlam, NMW, + 7 more

Y The Last Man was my first series. I borrowed them from a friend, but had to buy 3 issues he lost.

I was going to sell Manhattan Projects once the run was around $250.

  6. Midtown only lets you order 25 copies of the same comic. Do you order directly through Previews? I have never done it before.

No. You can try multiple orders or ordering from different vendors. But, be careful to not go too deep down one path (title). There are opportunities and there are pitfalls. I would not do more than you feel comfortable ordering. For me, I order what I like. If I like it, I might get some more. If not, I don't and usually sell what I have (there's a fan out there for every title - maybe hm ).

Example: I sold all my Peter Panzerfaust last Christmas sale (didn't have much, but still). I sold almost all my Manhattan Projects.

Thanks for helping me all day today. I was just asking to know. Midtown already closed the Previews orders for East of West last week and I ordered 1 copy because of Hickman (I follow Manhattan Projects).

  7. New to the thread and the forum. I guess I am even new to comics. I'm 24 years old and the first issue I bought was TWD #100 hah. But I am submitting Nowhere Men #1 for my first CGC grading. I am submitting it the same time as The Manhattan Projects #1. Still trying to figure out how to go about doing it though.
