Oh my gawd....the prison sequences throughout this book are hilarious. I kind of feel more like I am watching a movie..or a TV show unfold each week.I think another member said "cinematic" in the past. I get this feeling as well. Issues 1 and 2 were great, but 3 and 4 just built on them and just continued that greatness. Folks, check out some of the prison dialogue in this book...very funny...as well as that chief of police guy...can't remember his name now. I don't feel quite as sad for Todd's family due to the fact that TODD keeps me busy laughing..... Last page of #4 is ...well, like WOW. The storyline could have just really opened up. High 5 Ken for all the creative writing along side the colorist and Perkers pencils! Still waiting on that TODD action figure. EDIT: I ahve actually purchased several of each issue after reading #1 with the intent of giving some out to friends. Call me selfish..I know...but now holding on to them all.

Welcome to the club. Its started as a small club just like the print run of the book, but its been growing steady since. I think one of the best compliments to this book and its creators is the interest and momentum it has amongst BOARDIES! The following is a thread here on the boards by a member asking OTHERS the following question/suggestion: "If you could only read 3 moderns what would they be?" If you were to run through the thread responses, TODD The Ugliest Kid On Earth was actually mentioned MORE than a few times!! And to the book's credit...its only on issue #3!!! Hey Huge -- great to hear that. Today I sent a preview pdf of #4 to more than 300 retailers email addresses. To any of you boardies who know of shops that don't carry the book -- give me the name of the shop and I'll put them on my list. I want to do everything I can to get retailers to buy the book. Wow!
