  1. I've actually put a lot of thought and discussion into this exact question about Moon Girl #4 vs #5 . I used to try to argue among friends that #4 contained the first horror story, but I have since been convinced that the story in Moon Girl #4 is not a "horror" story precisely because Moon Girl is in it - therefore, it's a "superhero" story, not a "horror" story. So, I'm now calling the story in Moon Girl #4 something like "the first EC story with a horror element in it", whereas Moon Girl #5 contains the first pure "horror story" Seriously, before I came to this acceptance, I was hoarding copies of Moon Girl #4, awaiting the realization by the hobby that it was the first horror story
  2. Great books, guys!! I probably have over 100 EC undercopies in my boxes that I haven't gotten around to selling yet, which means I could to a "multiple copy" post about 100 times or so . I'll spare you that and only post up some of the more choice dups where it actually makes me feel good to have multiple copies ...
  3. In Don Rosa's "House Tour, Part 1" video on youtube (link to follow), Don specifically mentions this as "the only real Uncle Scrooge toy ever made," because it's the only one that was actually produced by Dell Comics (who created Uncle Scrooge) Go to the 13:35 mark in this video and watch until 14:20 :

  7. Welcome to my "store", where I'll perpetually list for sale various undercopies and things that I've decided to no longer collect. I'm going to try this using a different approach than I've used in the past - I'm just going to list books, grades, and prices (no scans). If you see a book you are interested in, you can PM me and I will happily supply scans and any grading notes I have. Here's a link to my KUDOS THREAD I try to grade conservatively and come up with fair "collector-to-collector" prices from the get-go. Of course, if you think I'm off on something, I'm happy to discuss. Thanks for looking/shopping! Ed Store Map: AISLE 1: Motorcycle Covers (raw, Gold and early Silver age) General Rules No PL/HOS members, and I reserve the right to ask for references if you are a new/low post count boardie making a large purchase. Aside from that, the first taker wins, whether in the thread or via PM, based on time stamp. The new board software does not display precise times that posts were made (either in PMs or in sales threads). So, the first "take it" posted in the thread wins (whether a straight thread take it, or a "take it via PM" if we reached a deal via PM). I'll mark books SOLD as soon as reasonably possible; if I put a book ON HOLD, that book is not available for purchase until it comes back off HOLD Payment I'll take PayPal, personal checks, or USPS money orders; I'll expect payment within 10 calendar days, or the book will be available for sale again (unless we've made other payment arrangements) I'll gladly consider longer-term time payments, but PM me to discuss terms before taking a book if you need that. Shipping Terms USA: - Shipping via priority mail (unless otherwise noted in a particular post below): I'll charge you what USPS will charge me (typically between $8 and $13, depending on how many books you buy and how far away from Salt Lake City you are ); Canada, UK or Australia: - Again, I'll charge you what USPS will charge me (we'll figure which is cheaper - first class or priority mail international - that'll depend on package value and destination) Other International Destinations: - case by case basis...I'll need to see if I'm comfortable with available shipping options Returns/Refunds General Policy: I will accept returns for any reason within two weeks of your receipt of the books, as long as the books are returned to me as they were when you received them. On raw book returns, you cover shipping cost back to me unless I messed up. On graded book returns, you cover shipping cost both ways.
  8. If you are using properly sized E Gerber products, there is nothing that we currently know from the laws of physics that could explain the bags/boards as a cause of what you describe. You are doing something wrong. Photos?
