  1. No way in heck would I advertise that I keep that stuff in my garage and house "comic room" and let them say I have an AF15. We may not know where he lives, but someone who just saw that article does.
  2. Ok, to me that seems like a "Click Bait" headline in the hopes of driving up ticket sales. The director says they make references to MOS, unless I read it wrong he didn't say Cavil was in the movie. Additionally if WB thinks this movie has a chance of succeeding (which I don't think it will) why tie it to a dead universe?
  3. Better do it quick as it may not be in theaters long. It flopped hard with a $6.5 million opening.
  4. Ok, I haven't been watching closely to what movies have been opening, but 4 weeks at number one is pretty tight now a-days.
  5. So last weekend I'd thought I give it another go. I don't know if I was spaced out or what the first time, but I was able to watch it all this time and over all it was a good movie. Not great, but fun.
  6. Ok, so from what I gather the whole "Secert Invasion" storyline is because some skrull kid got pissed Fury didn't find them a home planet and now wants to kill all humans. So, if Rhodey has been a skrull since shortly after Civil War, why didn't that Rhodey Skrull tell all the other Skrulls about the awesome planet that they killed Thanos on? I mean the Rhodey Skrull was there. Looked pretty freaking fertile to me. And these guys are striking when they put out dung like this.
  7. I couldn't find it for American Pie 2 and American Pie: Wedding, but for American Pie:Reunion (the 4th in the series), Seam William Scott was paid $5million plus a little of the gross. Hollywood Reporter Article So I mean, not a bad pay day for what the films were.
  8. Also the one he did with Jackie Chan Chow Yun-Fat (my mistake), Bulletproof Monk I think?
  9. As was touched on before, seeing as how they have to buy the 1/3rd stake from Comcast I am sure they are sitting on it so that the value is as cheap as possible. Better to pay $9 Billion than $25 Billion.
  10. The trailers did zilch for me. Even if everyone and their brother says it is the best thing, if I don't get a vibe from the trailer I simply will not turn over money to see it.
  11. Wow, 2 months ago I'd have said this would be the movie of the summer (espically with TC coming off Maverick). No idea what the budget is for this movie, but you just have to feel that those involved are a bit disappointed in $600m WW.
  12. Everyone blames the fans if something isn't well received, and they wonder why fans have stopped showing up.
  13. Maybe it is his wild and luxurious mane of hair throwing me off, but dude looks like he has a HUGE head on that body.
  14. +1 It was the women and female teenagers that drove Titanic to such a massive BO, so same thing could be happening here.
  15. Congrats to this film. I still will not be seeing it, however, Congrats. Never would I have thought a live action Barbie movie would make $1 Billion+, I am stunned. But great job to everyone involved from the top down.
  16. Which really makes it hard for me to care one way or the other about the strike going on in Hollywood.
  17. That didn't work out to well for them with the remake of "The Little Mermaid". Budget of $250million + $100 Million marketing for an all in of $350 million (that we know of). Little Mermaid had a WW gross of $560 million, so split that in half, Disney received $280 million back, still $70 million short of break even. If Disney wants to make an empowering movie, that is awesome, go with something new like "Barbie". That movie is going to blow away the reboot of the Little Mermaid, and yeah it will blow away this reboot of Snow White. Make new stuff and leave the classics alone.
  18. Well the first one "The Meg" doubled what "The Flash" did. $530m Global vs $267m Global, so I'd say it has a good shot about beating "The Flash".
