I picked it up at local comic book sale a while back for a quarter. I did not know it was double cover until recently after I looked it over for submitting to CGC. So fun when something like that happens. It is like hitting the lottery. Can someone tell me what it worth? Any offers? I just got an offer of $240 which seems pretty good since 9.8s prices are dropping.

comicnut1969 (181 ) has some nice CGC and PGX books but stay away. Also, stay away from any seller from Eugene, OR looks like a good rule of thumb.

I guess I mean when you can see the grades online (at shipped?)

How many people sneak a peek at the grades once it reaches Graded? I try to wait until I get the books in hand as it makes it more fun opening up the package. I few times I have peaked ahead. Sometimes really happy and sometimes disappointed (you know how that goes). Just curious.

Is that the day your books were received? So, 60 days or so which is a great improvement.

My books received 4/23/2013. When do I enter scheduled for grading. Says 68 days for modern turnaround. It that from date received?

That is a nice bump Bruce. My question is did you see the book outside of the slab before resubmitting. Also did you resubmit it with the label. It seems like you would have to see the comic outside of the holder in order to be sure about resubmitting. I have never resubmitted but I have been tempted on some modern books I submitted that got a CGC 9.6 and thought had a chance at a 9.8 (eg. Amazing Spider-Man #300). Rickdogg did this and got the highly desired 9.8. On the other side of the coin, I am sure there are cases where people resubmit and maybe get a lower grade. I am sure people aren't as willing or eager to share these stories.

Thanks for the reply. I've seen some of the signature series book go for $25 or less on ebay. I guess people are losing money. The amount of signature series out there and how hot there were seems to have died down because of the low profit margin.

Any discount on the signature series? I know the cost is $25 through Paradise comics or at the conventions. Does anyone know if there is any discount. I would like to get one but $25 plus shipping and insurance hardly seems worth it unless the book is signed by Stan Lee or someone that well known.
