In celebration of TMNT Day, Jetpack Comics is selling TMNT Funbags* for $50 and $100 tiers, which are mystery boxes full of TMNT books and other merch. I bought a $100 one mostly because I'm bored and opening the box should kill three minutes.

Thanks so much for that heads up! I snagged one too

    Good morning,

Thanks for your message. First appearance label notations are made at the discretion of the CGC Grading Team. You can find this information by visiting the CGC Census which will include the Key Comments, Art Comments, and First Appearance notations.

If you would like to request a first appearance update or inclusion to the current label, please include a note along with the book in your submission (post-it on comic bag).

    Thanks!

    Hi Jennifer

Do you mean to send a slab in to have it be reholdered? Or do you mean on the raw book when you send it?

Is there no forum thread to request these items?

    Thanks!

I think brick and mortar shops without an online presence are going to suffer the worse and I’m sure some will go out of business. So support those shops if possible. I think people will be spending less on books because of the uncertainties and worries. Hopefully the government actually does something about both small businesses and people that maybe out of work or sick. I’m doubtful but it’d be nice. I know I’m spending a lot less for at least a few weeks.

    Your name sucks

Not really sure since I loved the series.  i think it's just because a preview hasn't come out yet.  I'm betting the fickle eye of the comic market will turn to Invincible soon enough and we will see a huge surge in the early harder to find issues.  I just have a hard time calling any issue other then #1 a key books.  The 1st appearance of the female alien could be a nice key depending on how the show pops.

Footage from the show is allegedly to be released at SDCC this year, so I imagine interest will peak at that point

There are a few more later in the series as well as some variants and second prints that are very hard to get.
110 comes to memory for the rape issue
There is a Rick from Walking Dead appearance in the 80s I think.

Issues 11 & 12 command quite a bit due to big reveal and story change in the book in those issues.

1-15 are very hard to find due to low print runs. The Amazon show should help it as well.

One of the best series in the last 20 years. The first 30 or so issues are fantastic.

    The Rick/Shane issue is 81

    Other books of note are:

    50 Variant Adams Cover

    51 Second Print

    52 Sketch Cover

75 Variant Cover (this is rumored to be least available of any issue)

Returns Sketch Variant (good luck finding one)

    100 ComiXology Sketch Variant

    100 Sketch Cover

Batman #619 is a great add. I’ll put it on the list.

I think people have settled on 655 over 656 but things can change. Who knows. Wasn’t 655 the 1st Morrison too ? That may have a little to with it. 🤔

    thanks 🙏

Pretty sure we mean 609 here not 619

    FYI

It is not a "variant" of the first printing in the least.  It is a third printing, as indicated by the UPC on the back.  CGC labels it a "Retailer Incentive Edition", which is in fact not the same as an actual "RRP" (which label only applies to a handful of DC variants). It is a DRS (Diamond Retailer Summit) book, commissioned by Diamond (similar to how stores commission a store variant) and was mailed out to those who attended the Diamond summit from that year.

Here is the description of the book from Diamond's website:

    Thorough response, thanks

Great, informative list otherwise though.  (thumbsu

Wait what? There is a variant of Saga 1 literally labeled “Retailer Incentive Edition”

    What am I missing?

  10. Hi Mollie

Can you consider the score for the Invincible #75 Variant Cover? On GPA the most recent sale in February 2019 was $450 in 9.8, it is considered one of the most rare issues in the series

    Same for:

    Invincible #52 Sketch Cover

    Invincible #100 Sketch Cover

    Invincible #100 Ottley Sketch Cover

    Invincible #50 Variant Cover

All of these issues are among the most rare and sought after in the series

Thanks so much for the consideration!
