  1. Thanks. Wish i would've bought this last year when i was looking. It was about $100 cheaper then.
  2. You can donate one to the charity of me
  3. Think I'll get the asm 362 and some prenatal vitamins. Such a great combo.
  4. Astonishing spiderman & and wolverine 2
  5. I do love the evolution of threads here
  6. Could be cool. Wondering why they put out this release without actually showing the product, though.
  7. This is something I'll look into. I might ask a friend if its possible to leave it here and come get it after completing the move also. I've heard the horror stories of military moves from many people. So far I've only had some minor issues in my moves but really don't want to risk it this time. The good stuff will definitely be coming with me, but fitting 4K plus of comics in my car isn't an option so I really appreciate all the feedback.
  8. I'll definitely look into these for raw books im not carrying with me. All my graded stuff will fit in my car. But I would feel more at ease knowing my pricier raw books are locked up.
  9. Definitely food for thought, thanks. And to @kav for that article. Any recommendations for prepping the boxes? Should i tape the tops on? Any recommended subsatnce to fill empty space in a box (packing paper, id assume)?
  10. You're not wrong, However, that probably won't happen as I'm a single guy yet have a lot of stuff and 2 cars to move.
  11. That's one thing I won't have to worry about as the company is contracted through the military and are paid via that contract.
  12. Bottom line is I'm looking for advice on moving my collection. I have a PCS move from Newport News, VA to San Antonio, TX in about 4 months. Last time I moved it was a short distance and my collection was able to be crammed in my car. Definitely not an option this time aside from my graded books that I'll bring with me when I drive out. Side note is that I recently switched my tracking software which has me going back through everything to ensure I properly log it all and I wanted to sort and label my boxes properly before this move. It's been a lot of fun revisiting my collection as it really all just sits there after being read. Stumbling across books I forgot I had like Ms. Marvel 17 and X-men 125 has been cool. Plus it brings back memories of all the old stories I've read and forgot about. Though some, (Red Hulk) should probably stay forgotten. Needless to say the room's an absolute mess now (see the terrible pic) that most everything's pulled out and I'm trying to resort it all as I log it.
  13. I love Natali's work. So glad I have a piece from her too. She is pricey though.
  14. Both of these are amazing but the Phoenix is ridiculous
  15. Missed out on his little tantrum but I still see him listing things for sale in different FB groups routinely. I just think back to this thread and the old one from the Sig room where he ripped off everyone. Its sad that he can continue on after all that he's done.
  16. Just got this in hand today. From the Jeff Edwards/Steve Lydic sketch op.
  17. I voted back when you posted. I think its a valid complaint. One of the major things with encapsulating a book is presentation. I collect custom sketches on blanks and my newest one has lots of rings. Luckily you can't really see them unless you angle the book right. I display my sketches on my desk at work and my mantle at home. If I saw rings all over it, I'd probably not display it and would feel like I wasted money paying an artist to make something that I just keep in a box. I'm all for cgc communicating something to us. Whether it's we're looking into it, we don't know what causes it or we don't care deal with it. I'd prefer that they figure out a solution and keep us informed somehow of what we can anticipate the correction will be. The silence right now is a disappointment.
  18. I've been following this thread since the beginning and my LCS owner just happened to show me this as I was dropping off some books to be sent in for grading. I saw the rings immediately and had to snap a photo.
