  2. I certainly appreciate all the enthusiasm and support you guys have for the book! It's definitely been a huge help to have a community rallying behind it, and I'm certainly nothing but eternally grateful as it's given us the opportunity to continue as an ongoing series. I'll certainly do my best to offer very fun, cool things every chance I get! I don't want anyone to get left out, but making things a bit more exclusive (i.e. only doing 50 copies of our SDCC set) does make things more interesting, but there will be many more cool things coming down the line, and hopefully something I can offer exclusively to the fine folks here on these boards. Hope to see some of you in San Diego! I'll also be at Baltimore in September, then Chris and I will *both* be at NYCC (our one year anniversary so to speak) and have lots of cool stuff. I'll bug Chris to get a better idea of when he's going to open up OA sales as well. Thanks again, guys! -Frank
  3. ...and how about some new art to round out the day? Here's another amazing page from GARRY BROWN from issue 6--this one is really going to be spectacular, guys.
  4. Also--I will have prints at SDCC. I'll have the traditional "ad" print (pictured above by Machiavelli) as well as the "skull print" from the #1 variant. However, DON'T GO CRAZY TRYING TO GET THESE--in August I will have them for sale in a webstore I've been setting up. I will have ample copies of *both* prints available as well as some other new goodies.
  5. Hey guys, I'll definitely look into getting a small run of sketch covers done for #6--but due to time frame, might have to make it issue 7.
  6. Just a heads up--envelopes will NOT be sealed. Those who buy them could theoretically seal them themselves, though.
  7. Alright, so here are the five covers included in the set! I will be selling 25 during my Saturday signing and 25 during my Sunday signing as to space things out a bit... Really looking forward to these sets. Purposely left all copy off the books as to give them a more prestige look!
  8. We will also BOTH be appearing (together!) at NYCC.
  9. Also, just checked out that auction-- Chris WILL be selling more original art--and very soon! I'll keep you guys updated; he really just wanted to wait until we were done with the first arc and he could get everything archived. Trust me when I say there are some pages in issue 5 that many are going to want to jump on .
  10. Alright, I'll give you guys pictures when I have the books in hand, but what I'm going to be selling is actually A SET of variants. It is Five Ghosts #1-5, all with plain white covers with portraits of each ghost done by Mr. Chris Mooneyham. They all come together in a special envelope with an image printed on it. I'm selling this for $75--yes, a little pricey, but there will only be 50 ever made and I'm excited to post some pictures--they are beautiful.
  11. For San Diego Comic-Con goers: I'll be appearing at the Image Comics booth on Saturday & Sunday! Saturday: 2-4 Sunday: 10-12 I'll also be at the Dark Horse booth on Saturday morning from 10-11. I'll have a very special Five Ghosts exclusive with me at the Image signings! It's going to be limited to 50 copies...more details soon.
  12. Artist Garry Brown shared this page from his upcoming story in issue 6! As I mentioned, issue 6 is a complete stand-alone issue with art by Garry (40 pages!). Chris will be back on board for the next arc (issues 7-12) starting right after in November, so I don't think you'll miss him too much . Looking forward to you guys all seeing issue five July 31st! I think it's the best yet and it really brings context to the whole first story arc.
  13. Don't know my signing times, but I will *only* be there on Saturday and Sunday!
  14. More info next week, BUT if you thought the ECCC variant was rare...the SDCC "set" I'm prepping is going to be limted to 50.
  15. Yup, both Chris and I will be at NYCC with all kinds of cool stuff as well! It'll just be me (Frank) at SDCC.
  16. I'll be announcing SDCC stuff very soon.
  17. Five Ghosts #6--out this October with beautiful guest art by GARRY BROWN (who draw's Brian Wood's THE MASSIVE). This issue is a 40 page stand-alone tale with Fabian in Japan. Don't miss it! Chris will be back in November for issue 7--the start of our massive LOST COASTLINES story arc.
  18. Not sure when this is going to be announced at the Expo, but what the hell! ONGOING http://multiversitycomics.com/interviews/image-expo-frank-barbiere-talks-the-now-ongoing-adventures-of-five-ghosts/
  19. Have fun at the Expo, Machiavelli! Wish I could have made it out!
  20. Coming at the end of the month--Ben's wonderful wrap-around Phantom Variant to the end of our first arc! Stay tuned to the internet tomorrow for some exciting news via Image Expo!
  21. For those who don't mind a brief spoiler or two--preview of #4 out this Wednesday! Really proud of this issue, and I know I may be biased, but I don't think there's going to be anything else really like it on the stands, despite being an amazing day for new comics! http://www.comicosity.com/preview-five-ghosts-the-haunting-of-fabian-gray-4/ -Frank
  22. Phantom Variant #4! Will be in stores June 26th!
  23. Thanks for the kind words, Larry. Here's a swell 10/10 review from Newsarama. Definitely dropping a lot of mythology hints/reveals for those of you who want more "meat" in the book...lots more to still come. http://www.newsarama.com/17878-best-shots-advance-reviews-five-ghosts-nowhere-men-more.html
  24. A nice preview of #3: http://www.comicbookresources.com/?page=preview&id=16581 Note that pages 4-5 are a horizontal poster spread
