You actually haven't read Tec 850, have you? I have read it. So story doesn't matter? Is that what you are saying? No story does matter, you are absolutely correct there, I will say Tec 850 is an important Sirens key book that does lead in to GCS but it's not their 1st appearance. We should be focusing on the plot line of the Sirens movie as that is where other specs lie. I 100% Agree with Ween because I have read the whole arc, and there would be NO Sirens series without what happened in Detective Comics first. Tec 850 is Cameo + Origin of Sirens and the only reason why these specific people are against it, is because CBSI broke the spec, and these guys all missed the opportunity to pick up copies/or are just continuing their stupid witch hunt against a spec site that does better than any other when it comes to finger on the market pulse. I've asked everyone of these loudmouth trolls for their ebay names, and they all refused because they are likely hiding something. They were PM'd to discuss, and they replied with rhetoric that cannot be backed up (as usual) and left the conversations. Catwoman 89 gives there strengths and announces them as a team ! In 2001 ! This is where the Idea of them as a team came from FIRST! All of the Ebay listings and the general pump on this book is incorrect and dishonest ! Please look at the listings for before and after.... 'FIRST APPEARANCE OF THE GCS" If you cant agree that the pump was on then ....... whatever. Ween I am usually entertained by your passion for speculation but your defense on this one is WEAK ! For years all I have heard about around here is how important story is concerning a first appearance. Well where are the CGC forum stalwarts when a book like tec850 shows up to defend such an argument? If story is sooooo important for a book to be considered a first then please explain to me why tec850 is NOT the GCS first appearance. People here are confusing the appearance of the three chicks in a book or on a cover for the first appearance of them AS the Sirens. Again the money Catwoman stole from hush is essential to the formation of the team. Am I wrong? Please I am waiting for a valid argument against. Dude you argue for preview catalog 1st appearances. Detective comics # 850 was a chump hump bro ! screw hush and the money ! There are too many variables to claim this the IT GCS BOOK ! It was pumped and picked up steam. Tec #850 is the beginning story to GCS and leads into GCS #1. They have teamed up prior to TEC #850. This book came out the same month as Catwoman #89 (according to wikia). All front and center...but not a GCS story. I really don't mind their site (CBSI). I think they do a lot of work and its a fun read. I know I am responsible for my own research and purchases. What I dont like is reading about guys "flipping books" for new cars and all of the spec bragging with no regard or respect for collecting comics. Again I dont have to be bothered by an opposing view of what comic books are for. I was seriously wondering if they ever felt bad for chest thumping a book that was a bad spec.

When a speculation site pushes the wrong book do you think they feel bad? Do they even do research to make sure they got it right before their followers spend money on the recommendations?
