  1. Now this is much better ! Pif was run down ! I am back in because this thread is right !
  2. It maybe should not be a hot book but tanking it is not ! just because there where a couple of high sales when there was only 2 listed means nothing. there is demand . you can clearly see a lot of the copies for sale are not NM books. Putting Livewire in the Harley price range is crazy talk. NOT TANKING
  3. Whats a fair price for one? I have the other (4) 9.8's ... i was thinking half of that price any one interested PM an offer. I have no clue there is no sales history. Another one I dont have a clue how to price is Big hero 6 in 9.8 got some of them as well .

  8. If you're asking whether the episode or the comic came out first, I'm not sure, but... I have the 1990s Superman Animated Series DVD set and watch the shows semi-regularly with my toddler. I had never heard of Livewire, but watching the episode (this a few months before the recent hype) I did think she was a fun character with some potential. Her name and costume are cool, and in this episode she did have some of the zing of the early 90s Harley. I like this character better, personally: +1 RR Refresh my memory, who is that? Oh here goes the farm.. Roxy rocket and its also the 3rd appearance of HQ

  10. Why is Hulk 340 a $300 book in 9.8? Pretty Cover. There are other reasons that are far more crazy as to why a book commands 3 figures. You seem to be having a hard time wrapping your head around this concept, How old are you? 22? 23? I thought besides the cover it was the the first rematch since Hulk #181?
  11. Classed 2008 up a bit. Added 2013
  12. I'll be on that list offered to the boards would be great.
  13. I have 3 raw sets w/ envelope not currently on fee bay.
  14. Enjoyable first issue ! definitely a different tone to this book. can't wait to read the next issue.
  15. Shazam ! I knew that would finally happen. Crazy it's easier to keep track of what comics don't have an option.
  16. I agree they don't care. Im hope it catches up to them soon. I think it will. Let's look at the # 1 print runs into the 500,000 range and number 2 will be like 80,000. They stink bad. People are not buying those spider-mans retailers are.
  17. Good article but off. I think a lot of those early reboot issues are now in dealers back issue stacks. And as soon as they hit the reboot again the dealers loose money. If they want to play it like tv seasons then go that direction. What they are doing is feeding the hype machine and I think sooner or later retailers are going to stop feeding into their bs. I know a couple of retailers that cut back their orders on the new spider-man and the original sin books because of the super high print numbers and the excessive variants. Not a day later they received strong arm calls from diamond asking them if they where sure they wanted to cut back and that it was going to be a huge book . Those books will be a buck on eBay two weeks after launch and the variants will spike and then decrease. Marvel is horrible. I hope dc keeps the current reboot going.
  18. Yea ? your point? They are losing readers non stop with the reboots so i would say that their short term sales spikes are going to hurt them or should I say the print side of comics. Also as Larry stated how many times are they going to get retailers to buy into the next big thing only to get burned over and over again... just an opinion !
  19. I'm told there will be an Amazing Spider-Man #1 next year. I'm NOT even kidding. WOW ! I cant believe they would reboot again ! they are losing so many regular customers with these reboots. they are selling more copies but... its only because they are forcing the retailers hands with variant incentives. Its to bad they could not just lower these cover prices and write consistent cool stories and work on increased readership instead of gimmicks ! Kirkman is dead on about marvel ! I know Dc just rebooted but odds are there main titles will not see a reboot again for years.
  20. + 1 even the RRP summit has a high run . Larry do you know the summit book number 6000 ?
