  1. Been chasing a decent version of this book for a while now; thoughts on the grade here? Hi-res: https://c1.staticflickr.com/1/472/31950576661_b9868d6ab8_o.jpg Hi-res: https://c1.staticflickr.com/1/693/32029479856_3048e9186e_o.jpg
  2. Picked up this beautiful pedigree book and presenting for grading. Appreciate views on possible grade. Hi-res: https://c1.staticflickr.com/1/653/31227180604_3bcd1b3cf2_o.jpg Hi-res: https://c1.staticflickr.com/1/403/31950799391_20c0cedcbf_o.jpg
  3. Two copies of this UK Marvel book from Chris Claremont and Herb Trimpe introducing Cap's little sister who would later become Psylocke! Still chasing an elusive 9.8, not sure if I have a chance with either of these. As always, appreciate boardies informed opinions and views on possible grades for both. 1. 4. With a press and clean an outside chance at 8.5. As is 7.5-8.0 I think...
  5. Interested to hear everyone's thoughts on this book with a pair of Marvel's. Hi-res: https://c1.staticflickr.com/1/299/32029838716_e086a3c25b_o.jpg Hi-res: https://c1.staticflickr.com/1/654/32029830276_ce1c70439e_o.jpg

  8. This set has been added. All books listed could not be added. Please keep in mind that books that are not currently graded by the CGC, can't be added, as they are not available in our system. Please wait to request books for addition until your books have been received. Thanks for this Mollie; however I noticed that CGC have duplicated the labels on the following books (they are the same book, just labelled differently by CGC): - Seven to Eternity #1- Moore Variant Cover/Variant Cover B - Seven to Eternity #1- Robinson Variant Cover/Variant Cover C - Seven to Eternity #1- Sketch Edition/Variant Cover D My copies in my set , my books are labelled Variant Cover B & C. Also, I noted you haven't added the regular Seven to Eternity #3 yet - although you have added Seven to Eternity #3 Variant Cover. I hoping to add that newly purchased/graded book as well. David
  9. I've been trying to grab both of these in the last few months to no avail as yet. Surely we'll see Wrecking Club in the Marvel Cinematic/TV universe soon. If you like Wrecking Crew, I'd recommend Iron Fist 12 too, Claremont & Byrne with Iron Fist and Cap team up!
  10. Keep the books coming and I think most of us who have posted in this thread will be happy. Yup, I spec'd on Enormous in the early issues and currently in hold pattern for them (I suck at spec'ing so no big whoop if nothing turns out). But I also picked up the singles from 5-12 since its a visual beauty and a great read. Also picked up some cool art (need to get those on the wall!!!) Glad you are continuing with the next arc. Please keep posting in this forum. I with @azcardsforever, just enjoying this quality book. I've got multiple books mostly due hunting down best quality copies for my registry set. If something else happens, all gravy...
  11. Got this back from CGC late last year after catching up with Alan Davis at 2016 Motor City Comic Con. Arken_Sword_11_92_SS_A by Every Day A Story on Flickr
  12. I'm looking to attend again this year but trying to secure a four day pass or a Saturday pass to go with the Friday and Sunday looks hopeless with their dumb nontransferable policy (3 years ago I scored one from StubHub). Any ideas?
  13. Looking forward to Issue 13, in the meanwhile just wanted to get some more info on the La Mole variants. Do you know what the print run was on each of these by any chance? The Shattered Earth variant was ultra limited at 50 copies as per the ad below, but what about the others?
  14. All, I've finally replaced my Printer (went for MFC-J6920DW). As a result I have a working Microtek Scanmaker 8700 available. I've used this for all my books scans and fits a standard CGC slab perfectly and works with VueScan. Based in Melbourne, Australia, so this is most likely suited for Aussie boardies. Some examples below (or check out my posts): Avengers 96 94 1A by Every Day A Story, on Flickr Enormous #1 Phantom Variant CGC 9.8 by Every Day A Story, on Flickr
  15. 庞然巨物 Gigantic; rough Chinese translation of Enormous ;-)
  16. Happy grades on great books back from most recent submission. Concern is last two books (New Mutants and Nowhere Men 3rd Print) showing slight signs of waves as well as the pressure on the staples on the CM 17 2nd print as well as the Nowhere Men 3rd Print. 17. Just read the last issue of the second arc and as always thoroughly enjoyed it. Didn't feel like the end of an arc and starting to feel more like a solid ongoing series (reminded me of early Walking Dead or classic Bronze/copper age Marvel) with a lot of plot threads and different narrative groups coming together slowly. I like the way everything is headed. When can we expect issue 13? On the subject of Enormous books on eBay, I've noted 1a sells well. I think everyone is waiting for TV series news and until then are pricing Enormous at high BIN's; rare that you see them listed in auction format. I've got 3x Enormous Signature Series book auctions ending on ebay in a couple of hours, so we'll see what they fetch. Still extremely reasonably priced right now... UPDATE: Someone just got one hell of a bargain!
  18. Thought I'd share this beautiful piece of original artwork from Mehdi Cheggour for Enormous #1 (thanks to Court for helping secure it).
  19. You can find all the info here. They're were 50 sketch covers in total printed.
  20. Sadly I'm no longer eligible for the club after selling my 9.6 to Matt. Even though I am sad to let it go, it couldn't have gone to better home.
  21. Argh. Mine should arrive today (3 different variants - thanks again to Huichillo), so I hope you have better luck than me David. Didn't arrive and the tracking (when I finally got it working) suggests Mexican customs have opened and then repacked the package, so I'm not confident I'll get them non-mangled too. If by any chance the arrive immaculate, I'll be happy to ship you a set. Don't know about you guys, but chasing all these Enormous variants is beginning to become tiresome. Be nice to hear some news that isn't about a new variant cover. Loving all the sketch covers, can't wait for mine to arrive and issue 12 next week!
  22. Some more OA, this time the Nowhere Men #9 cover art Really shows how Dave Taylor, Fonografiks (aka Steven Finch) and Jordie Bellaire collaborate. P.S. Does anyone here have any OA from the first 6 issues? Keen to own some of the covers/pages by Nate (I just missed out on the Issue 2 cover when it was listed on Comiclink.com)
