    That is the rumor here locally. This is supposedly Goldman’s last year. How this show goes this year may directly influence the purchase from one of the big con promoters from what I’ve heard.

    I agree. Dale always has a killer booth at this show. Same with Ted from Superworld but like you said, megacon going head to head sucks. It is silly to have two major shows going the same weekend.

    Also for smaller shows Great Lakes comic con in Michigan is amazing. Michigan Comic Con at Cobo was a first year show last year and was good too.

    Motor City is one of my favorite cons. Will be interesting though with it going head to head with megacon this year. I know they are bringing in Jim Lee with a bunch of celebs. Neal Adams has been there every year too. Other great Midwest cons are C2E2 and Wizard world Chicago. WW is only down for dealers in my opinion. There are less attendees but still crazy awesome books in the room.
